Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculamis fairly relevant and covers all the fundamental concepts required for the course.Since the college is affiliated with Guru gobind singh indraprastha university ,the syllabus is well structured and uniform across all the universities.
Internships Opportunities
The college offers a decent internship opportunities,aminly through training and placement cell .students get opportunities to apply for the companies the infosys ,tcs and manyother reputed companies .However,most opportunities are not directly povided by the college and students need toactively apply .
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities is quite decent ,especiallyfor CSE and IT branches.The average package for these branches ranges aroud 7-8 lpa whileover median package is around 4.5lpa .However,placements are not equally strong for all branches and students need to work on their skills to getgood offers.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total amount which I paid for tution fees is 155000 rupees.The fees slightly differsfor the lateral entry students and regular students.The fees structure ofthe collegeis slightlyon the higher side but it is justicable considering the faculty,education and structure. BPIT also provides many scholarships for deserving candidates.
Campus Life
Overall,the college experience is quite decent.Thereare various technical and cultural clubs where students can actively participate ,organize events andimprove their skills.Technical societies are more active compared to the non-technical ones,and students do get the oppotunitiesto participate in fests and workshops. In terms of infrastructure ,college provide basic facilitie like labs, AC classrooms ,lirary and Wifi.
Hostel Facilities
The college provides hostel facilities only for girls within the campus. The hostel is well maintained ,safe and offers basic facilities like furnished rooms ,mess facility,Wifi and 24/7 security .Rooms are usually on asharing basis.
Admission
I choose this college because this offers a good balance of academics,and location .Compared to othercolleges BPIT has decent placement opportunities and a disciplined academic environment .Also its location in Delhi povides better exposureand careeropportunities . The admission process is mainly based on the entrance exams and centralised counselling .After registrationon the IPU portal,students participate inchoice filling and seat allotment .Once the seat is alloted , they need to pay the fees and complete document verification.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is well qualified and knowledgeable,with many professors holding M.tech and phd. Most teachers are supportive and approachable, especially when students show interests in studies.The teaching quality is decent and supportive.
Interview Experience
No, there was no interview or Group discussion .The University basically conducts the common entrance tests for students.After which students has to filled the colleges and on the basis of ranks if student clear the merit then he/she will be alloted the college.And then counselling process for admission starts.
Night Life
The nightlife inside the college is quite minimal.After classes get over ,students usually spend their time in canteen ,library or with friends on campus.However, since the college is located in Delhi ,students ofetn explore nearby cafes, areas and markets to relax.
