Entrance Preview

WB-JEE for engineering. Do not want to disclose the rank as it is personal. I chose the college as It is near to my house.

Course Curriculum Overview

Excellent. Curriculum is at par with modern standards with modern laboratory and experienced faculty. They are extremely dedicated and really approachable, ready to help anytime. The professors know their subjects in depth and can teach without referring to their books.

Internships Opportunities

Yes they allow internship in 3rd year with tie ups with reputed organisations which allows us to get a corporate exposure.

Placement Experience

Very good placement with top companies like Capgemini, TCS, Tech Mahindra, HCL etc. with packages from 7 L and above depending on positions. Almost all were placed , barring a few exceptions. However all got placed on time and in good positions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

it is as per prescribed by university. Which is feasible . Also banks provide study loans to required people. Per semester fees are round 35 thousand rupees. It includes laboratory fees, session fees , Exam fees are separate. Also Hostel fees are separate and comes to around 20 thousand rupees per month.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I did not avail any scholarship. College does not offer any at this time. However loans can be availed from banks for study purpose.

Faculty

They are extremely dedicated and really approachable anytime, ready to help anytime. The professors know their subjects in depth and can teach without referring to their books. They are almost like big brothers, friendly yet strict and take attendance seriously.

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Nearly or almost 100% students get placed from IIT KGP, irrespective of their branch. This is the beauty about it. Four our course conpanies like the Adani Enterprises, Coal India, Ongc, Aban Offshore and others are our top recruiting companies as all of them are into mining business. Placement Experience:

The placement statistics are off the charts, with 367 offers being made to 361 students in the recent edition. The student can seat for internshps offered by diffent companies that visit th campus in their pre-final year, while they are eligible to seat for the placements in their final year only. Apart from this there also other restrictions for seating in the placements like Cg should be above 8.5 and there should not have been any disciplinary charges against you, etc. The companies visiting the college also have their own preferences for selecting the students. In 2024-25 the highest CTC is nearly 2.5 crores p.a. offered to a student of CS branch. The EC department getting the most number of offers i.e. 73.
