Remarks

NSUT is one of the most top tier Govt. Engineering college in Delhi. Based on that I took admission in it. Also it is facilitated with beautiful infrastructure and faculty. The admission is done through the Entrance exam "JEE mains". The exam is conducted by NTA.

Course Curriculum Overview

In NSUT, I have choosen Btech branch Mechanical Engineering in electric vehicles. I chose this course because it teaches us about the latest technology coming in a few years like 5 years from now. Faculty is excellent and highly qualified and helpful. Bit disappointed with the student ratio. 1 girl in 45 boys. Online classes are being conducted every week. The course is just started and exams will be conducted in next month.

Internships Opportunities

No I have just joined 2 weeks before so have not opted for internship till now.

Placement Experience

Placements in NSUT are top notch. More than 100 companies visit the campus every year, including top companies like microsoft, Google, Adobe, IBM, Deloitte, etc. According to 2019 stats, 50 lakh per annum was the highest package offered and least was 4 lakh per annum. 90 %of students gets placed on average.

College Events

Annual fest in NSUT is Moksh(cultural fest), technical fest is Inno/Reso. Coming to Social life, many hangout places are there like Vegas Mall, Dwarka. city centre, metro station sector 14 Dwarka. Many clubs are available for students as extracurricular activities, like chess, maths, astronomy, dance, music, art etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not availed any scholariship/ loan facility offered by the college. I dont know about any such scheme or facility.

Campus Life

The infrastructure is excellent as compared to other colleges. The area is huge of 100 acres. Coming to sports facilities, most of the sport equipment is available at the campus. Big playing area is present. Basketball court, cricket pitch, football ground, tennis lawn, etc. Huge library is present fully AC which has big amount of books and is open most of the time. Lab is also big and faculty is good.

Hostel Facilities

No, I have not opted for hostel as I live in delhi. But there are many hostels in NSUT. 4 boys hostel, and 2 girls hostel, many facilities are available like common television room, table tennis court, badminton, carrom, chess, shopping complex, washing machine facilities, etc are all available.

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience:

The college at the end of the year provides with placement fairs where you get high profile companies onboard to hire the students and provide them with industry experience. Appearing 6 th sem students become eligible for placement. Companies like rapido zepto hirey etc come here highest package is around 25 lpa and average of about 4.5 lpa. 50 % placement ratio . Incredible college

Placement Experience:

Around 3rd year of the college students are eligible for campus placement they do internships and societies help them in this. College comes a cross Great companies. The average packages around 7 lakh and max goes to 11 or 12 lakh. After my English honours other I will do the fourth year which is for the research or otherwise I will purse you masters degree.

From second year onwards... student are given access to Traning and placement department... Most 2nd, 3rd years are eligible for intership offers and 3rd years are eligible for job offers. Ebullient (85LPA) is the highest offer provided, Avg package is around 17LPA. but but only 37% student has been placed this FY till now (placements are still going on)

All about NSUT

I got into this college through the JEE mains exam I selected this college specifically to take admission in the computer science branch as it has great placements over all. Comparing this college to DTU or some mid level iits I would say that as far as placements are considered they all line on the same level and did you as a little bit chiller college life compared to nsuity but yes overall the placements are more or less the same level of these colleges...Read More
