C Sancho Roy's Review On Presidency University, Bangalore

Pros : World class infrastructure with moot court, sports fields like tennis court, cricket, football, volleyball and badminton court, Coffee Day shop, Hatti Kaapi, chaat shop, Stationary shop, Vending machines, Sodexo Cafeteria, Medical facility and ATM are inside the university. Cons : Too far away from the city, no internet can be received in the university area. The admission process starts from June - August 4th. I had preferred this college over others because it had won ASSOCHAM awards 2019 for 'Most Preferred Private University of the Year South'.

1 : 50 is the faculty : student ratio. I had chosen this course due to my personal interest in law and economics. All the faculties are either graduated from NLU'S or from a reputed government college. Their teaching methods is more practical and research oriented. We will get mid term exams in 2 months interval and one can only pass the exams if studied diligently. No grace marks are given.

Placement offers usually comes from the Top law firms like Khaitan & Co. and Fox Mandal. 25 - 30 percent of the students will get placements. My plsn is to study PG in Czech Republic for LLM

The social life in the university is very friendly. Students can talk with their opposite gender colleagues without any restriction. We have Meraki fest, and youth festivals around the year. There is a NSS, Debating Society, Photography, Cinema, Drama, Singing, dancing and musical instruments playing club.

There are football, volleyball, basketball, tennis, badminton and Cricket courts inside the campus. Wifi is there in the university but it is only for the faculty's use. The size of library is medium and you can get all the subject related reference books on demand. There is a moot court and a computer lab.

Triple and double sharing hostels are available provided with attached bathroom, solar water heater, microwave oven, washing machine, iron box and electric induction stove. The hostel meal is good in taste and prepared hygienically which is prepared by Sodexo. Both veg and non - veg cuisines are available (only chicken and egg will be given in non veg meal). Caution deposit for the hostel is Rs. 10,000 which is refundable. My hostel locality was opposite to REVA university, Yelahanka.
