Remarks

SRCC is one of the most reputed college of our country. The excellent infrastructure, dedicated teachers and amiable peers, made it my choice. It is the dream college of thousands of students, and for obvious reasons. The place offers ample opportunities to learn and grow.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very interesting for an economics lover. The intricacy of maths and econ together, makes it appealing to me. The quality of teaching rendered by the professors is commendable. It's a time investment course, with ample dedication and seriousness, one can do wonders.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are pretty good. All the big companies visit our campus, it is one of the preferred Institute. The big 4's ranging from KPMG to pwc visit the campus. 5th sem onwards, the process embarks and provides ample opportunity.

College Events

The life at campus is pretty vibrant. There are humongous societies to serve interests in different fields ranging from marketing to finance. The annual fest - CROSSROADS is one of the biggest of it's kind. With reputed personas on college campus during fest season, you'll enjoy the best of graduation fun.

Campus Life

The infrastructure is pretty good. We have a vast sports Complex to serve sports interest of myriads of students. Free college wifi, 3 storeyed library and 4 computer labs, makes it further easier for students to delve into pleasures of learning. The life at campus is pretty vibrant

From 6th-7th semester students become eligible for campus placement The placement process starts in July August of the 4th year and continues until March pril Students can apply for internships from the 3rd year, and many companies offer PPO (Pre-Placement Offers) based on internships Some of the top recruiters include Google Microsoft Amazon Adobe Atlassian Apple Deloitte Goldman Sachs Samsung Salesforce Bain & Company Flipkart Myntra (I copy pasted this from college official pdf and from website) Highest is 85+ lpa i guess according to dtu website and some seniors also told me that Overall average package is 15-18 LPA for btech Common roles offered include Software Development Engineer (SDE) Data Scientist -Data Analyst Product Engineer Business Analyst My plans after getting degree is --getting a core placement in oil refinery or oil rig

Honestly, i would rate the course curriculum 8/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensive. At first I wanted B. Com but then one of my Aunt inspired me to take Economics hons instead . It provides a solid foundation for practical applications by blending the theoretical concepts for the real world applications

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

mostly 3rd year students sits for placements , offers are given yet they are low from market and not vast in numbers too , i dont remember any major company that joined the placement drive its mostly local startups and companies and they dont support us doing interships so its really hard in bms to get placements as it just not possible

If you got no placement then they will give you the opportunity to start the startup. starting the 4th year you get the placement and opportunities. this college visits many companies like Amazon HCL Flipkart etc. this college's highest package is 26 LPA and the average package is 10.5 LPA. 80% of students get placed. my plan is after taking the degree I will start my startup.

The law department's faculty members are highly qualified, and their teaching methods are commendable. They are extremely hardworking, and they go out of their way to give us a lot of exposure by taking us to the supreme court, high court, Dwarka district court, parliament, and other places. They frequently have several sessions with honorable justices from various courts. Our teachers put in a lot of effort and try their hardest to keep our standards to NLUs when it comes to organizing MUNS to national moot court competition.

I choose this college because it is india best commerce college. It was my first preference and I got it. To take admission in this college you have to give cuet just after your 12th exams. You have to be pass in class 12th exams then you can give cuet. You can only give exams of subjects which you had in your class 12th. After giving exams , some universities release their admission form. You have to fill that form if you want to take admission. As you move ahead with their admission process you have to clear their cutoffs. For bcom hons in srcc the 2025 cutoff was 917/1000. For eco hons it was 910 for general category....Read More

SRCC- Asia's Best college experience

So basically i had applied to almost all other colleges in DU, for example Hindu, Miranda, LSR etc. Even non DU colleges, for example St. Xaviers. I got in all of them. However SRCC being my first preferance finally became my destination. I chose it mainly because of the Brand value it has. Same reason that people choose IITs. I didnt really get a rejection from anywhere. Just IIM under IPMAT, and that was because i didnt study too well for the entrance. For the admission in this college, u need to clear an examination called CUET. Thats the only exam. Cut off for B.Com hon goes the highest in SRCC itself, being the most demanded college.
