Remarks

Ranks in Top 10 College of Mumbai.Extra circular activities are given priority along with studies. Sports comes first for the college. Exams and lectures flexibility is provided in case of certain sports, exams & fests ( important ).No minimum attendance required. Great placement are offered.

Course Curriculum Overview

Strict academic activities are been followed along with all the extra circular activities like fest, quiz, shows, treks, camps, social awakening, etc. Faculty is great. They try to understand the students situation and hence gives students some concession regarding assignment, projects and presentation. It's my personal opinion my professors were of friendly nature.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 5000 per year

Placement Experience

After sem 4 students become eligible for campus placement. Companies like Deloitte comes for campus placement.

College Events

Podar has a great crowd. With friendly atmosphere. People interact with each other on daily basis. Make new friends in college fest. Like we conduct finace fest named as MONETA, INTER COLLEGE FEST CALLED ENIGMA AND COLLEGE FEST RAPPORT. These are the famous fest of our college. Along with it we have different groups like placement cell, speakers academy, German literacy, french forum, hindi literary circle, marathi mudra, Gujarati literacy circle, etc.

Campus Life

My college has course related to commerce only. We don't have a campus. But we do have a ground combined with RUIA college. College provides great facilities to athlete students or else who are interested in it. We have a good library with a reading hall along with it.

Placement Experience:

For architecure departments, usually there are no placements, but since this Institute is autonomous, they have startes conducting placements drive. Last year 10/12 students were placed in good firms all over banglore, pune, kolhapur. I plan on applying to different firms all over Maharashtra and would also hope to get placement via college since the packages that are offered are good. Placement percentage is anywhere between 12-15%. The highest package offered was around 5,40,000, average package for a architecture student would be-around 3lakhs.
