Life In PES Modern College Of Engineering, Pune.

the department of electrical engineering is good enough to make a engineer but there are lack of pratical knowledge which i miss in my course. the field visits are also for name and not much information is given in that. if you have to prepare for ral world applications you should join clubs or prepare for any government examination or internships.

The college provide placement chart every year but amount of placement through campus are not given. mostly off campus placements are good then campus placement. But actual good companies comes for hiering in campus. but there is totally dependent on student that how he is performing

The yearly fees is 90000/-rs for respected years. But because of my reservation category (NT-B) i have to pay only 11739/-rs for every academic year.The fees structure for myself is divided into two parts 1)tution fees which is zero in my case 2) Development fees which i have to pay 11739/-rs. fees structure for other categories are as follows: Tution fees development fees total fees 1)OBC/EBC/EWS/SEBC(Male)- 39131/- 11739/- 50870/- 2)OBC/EBC/EWS/SEBC(Female)- 0 11739/- 11739/- 3)SC/ST- 0 0 0 4)SBC/NT/VJ/DT/TFWS- 0 11739/- 11739/- 5)open/OMS- 78261/- 11739/- 90000/- 6)J&K- 24000/- 0 24000/-

Overall campus life is good but hectic at student level. but outside the campus we can enjoy pune much better then any other villages.i dont have much knowledge in clubs but much active in social media and keep on updating new things. library is good and big for studing with rich in relevant books.all the classrooms are equiped with projectors and greenboard.The sports facility are not much active in college.

This college get me in 1 Cap round, i have applied for many colleges but no betterment occur in further cap rounds. the area of the college and the college environment is good so i take admission without and hesitation.the eligibility exam are Jee,Mht-CET.

The teaching staff is good and friendly for a student who is good in studies. you can easily ask your doubts or clear your concepts during college timing which is 8am-6pm. but the behaviour of some teacher perticularly in my department is very rude.overall faculties are good for every department. no. of female faculties are much then male faculties. The professor which i much like accrding to their teaching and behaviour are pro. gajanan vanjari(maths department), prakhar kherdakar(physics), panchashila pillevar(electrical department),etc. there are mainly 4 exams held in perticular semister 3CIE and 1SEE. the no. of failure in first year are more then second year approx 60%. But the good thing is that they provide question bank for every examination. the curriculum of course is balanced on theory as well as practicals.

As i live near to college there are many place like pataleshwar,sambhaji udyan,FC road, JM road,etc which are good for night hangout.but college is totally closed at night hence no one is allowed to enter inside campus.
