Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course curriculum I feel could be improved like in 1st sem we had EVs and iks also excel which are very boring and basic but I guess now in second sem we have interesting subjects like principles of marketing, commercial law and many more

Placement Experience

3

I have less idea about placement but the college has a placement cell and also encourages students for startup and enterpreneur ship also has incumbent cells for encouraging but I guess average package for year would be 5-6 lakh annually which is decent but my plan is to join family business

Fees and Financial Aid

My fees for a year that is 37765 rupees which accumulated my total degree fees for 3 year that is 113295 whereas the reservation quota pays half the amount of fees I paid You have scholarships but will have to provide income certificate and maximum income should be around 5-7 lakhs a year

Campus Life

4

Infrastructure is okayish campus vibes is not good just a building canteen is not good but the vibe outside the college is amazing like many places tp hangout and chill I got into some fest and gained experience as well various labs are also there

Hostel Facilities

5

College doesn't provide hostel I have applied for a jain hostel which is a half hour away from the college but easy to reach through locals the food here in my hostel is amazing it is in ghatkopar west

Admission

I chose many colleges before this like nm mithi ai and jai hind but I got into this because of the cutoff The exam eligibility was maharashtra cet I got 99.219 percentile but still as I was from outside maharashtra category less options were avl to me because less seats reserved for all india category which was unfair

Faculty

4

Faculty overall is good like we have accounts teacher neesha mam who is helpful and economic sir md sir who has great knowledge as well The teachers are well approachable without any doubt There are only one exam which is of 60 marks at semester end and other 40 marks is given through assignment and group projects

Night Life

5

Gym is not there life is pretty good many places to hangout many restaurants and chilling places also safe to roam at night matunga is the best place for food as well heaven for foodies just the library is not upto the mark less space but many bookss

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are okay and mid. Don't expect higher packages like over 7 LPA; the highest was, I think, 6 LPA. Most are campus placements, and the companies coming in are mid-tier too. Not expecting much from here, though.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from 5th semester for placement. Companies like Goldman Sachs, deshaw, colgate visit our campus and 200+ offers are made. Highest package is around 24 lpa and average is 6 lpa. 50% students get placement. My plans getting the degree is to prepare for mba.

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is quite good. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester of course. There are many great companies that come like JP MORGAN, EY, KPMG. Average package of the college is 5-6 lacs but there are high packages according to the skills of the student. I'd like to go for master's after BMS. Different kind of roles are there for students to apply according to their interests in all the fields like finance, marketing, HR, consulting. There is training provided by the college for placemens and there is personal training for individual company interviews if required by students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am interested in the banking and finance since 11th because of my good accounts in this college I am able to learn the different aspects of banking and finance the college also held some mentoring about the course and career guidance. One thing I don't like is the test they took every time when one lesson got finish they took the test and us that any of the test will consider as internal and just before the exam they give so many projects and assignments and also tell us to complete the book then only they will give the internal marks and allow to write the external

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are done after the completion of the third year. Many companies come to the campus for the placement procedure. 85% of students get placed, and the remaining will always get placed out of the campus because a degree from NMIMS has a very huge value out in India.
