Remarks

There may be some negative points in my college but one can well adjust with that. Everywhere one can go, there must present some negative points but overall this is a good college. If one want to pursue higher education this college is for you.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is ok- neither a very good nor very bad curriculum. But after years now the new curriculum is good.8 semesters are there as like other colleges. Exam procedure is good. For my stream the results also given to us timely.

Placement Experience

Moderate. In our year you have to find internships by your own but nowadays they are improving in terms of job campusing. But according to me it needs a lot of improvement as this course is newly added (4+ years) I think so that it is taking time for settlement.

College Events

IEEE Seminars, IEEE technical competition. Here not only we participate in the events but also we got certificates for that. Moreover we attended in the Reunion and enjoyed a lot. In the technical competition winning is not important. Important is participation.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees are 3622 rupees per semester so one can well imagine that it is not only quite feasible but it is too low also. On an addition it takes 500 per semester more as examination fees which is also very much feasible according to me.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know if this kind of stuffs are available to my college or not. So I does not want to talk much about this. But according to me the fees structure is very low here so if that is not available then also one should not have any problem.

Campus Life

One can participate in technical competitions. not only as participate but opportunity to join as volunteer too. There also held some sports in picnic occured annually.One can explore themselves in the labs also.

Hostel Facilities

No, I have not opted for College hostel as I live within 10 km of college. As per college hostel rules one should have a minimum distance of 20 km ( probably) from college as the seats in college hostel is limited so the rule is a necessity.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Moderately good. As maximum of our honorable professors are also alumni of this college so that they can reach out to their college mates which I think make a good connection with our honorable alumni group.

Admission

I had given WBJEE Exam in 2016 and through centralized processing of joint entrance board of West Bengal I got admission to my college in 2016 but in the stream of Chemical Technology but later from decentralised process of Calcutta University I got chance to my present stream.

Faculty

They are extremely good in maximum cases. They are mostly helpful. If you are attentive to their classes you can gather knowledge also. If you are serious about the subject they also help you for sure.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally i opted for electrical and electronics instead of the branch of my choice is because my scores were not enough to secure a seat in CSE. But EEE is pretty cool as well for those willing to grow in this branch. Our curriculum exposes us to the rapidly growing sectors in the industry and educates us of all we need to know about the course in depth. If you want to continue ahead in a research field, this Institute is the most supportive. The exam questions are also relevant enough and considering we only need to actually stress over end semesters, its fair enough per semester. It would be better if our professors removed the attendance criteria rest im fine with everything else

Perfect campus for economics student

Admission process are very simple. Generally entrance exam was conducted for admission but I took admission just after COVID so I didn't give any entrance exam. But cutt off was very high.
