Sanjay A's Review On TKM College Of Engineering - [TKMCE], Kollam

Tkm college of engineering is really a good college. It provides us with a lot of opportunities like interships, workshops,extra curricular activities like sports, technocultural events,etc. Attendance is an issue because we should get a fixed attendance inorder to appear for the exam.

It is really good.I selected civil engineering because I really love construction and structures.My dream is to build a megastructure that is taller than Burj khalifa which is the tallest till date.There will be two series exam and one final sem exam for each semester.

There is lot of placements and job opportunities provided by thangal kunju musaliar college of engineering, kollam.federal bank,State Bank of India, Microsoft, confident group,Galaxy builders,etc. Our college does provide internships.

Crescita,it is a technocultural event exclusively for civil engineer in our college. It provide workshops,cultural events,etc.Hestia,it is also a technocultural event which one of the biggest technocultural events in the whole of South India.

Fee structure is actually feasible. It is not that expensive if we got admitted to the college through merit quota. But if we didn't got good marks in keam entrance exam the it will be difficult for the financially low class people to pay for the admission.

There are a lot of scholarship facilities provided in our college. Especially for financially and caste wise middle class and low class people. Egrantz,MCM.etc. It is really helpful for the financially poor people.

There are lot of extracurricular activities like sports, technocultural events,labs, workshops, internships,library facilities,etc. There is a large football ground in our college which is really great thing.

Hostel infrastructure is actually not that bad. It is great that first years have a separate hostel facilities and only first year hostellers can enter the hostel which is good thing so that we can avoid ragging from the seniors. The food is okay but not that good.

Senior students in our college are really good. They are really helpful in many ways. They are really like our elder brothers and sisters. Seniors are really friendly although some of them do rag us but in a friendly manner.

I appeared keam 2019 and got good rank and also there is some caste category concession also.It is a bit tough exam but if we prepared well we can score good marks and get admission in good college like I did.

They are really good. They are really helpful in our academic matters. They constantly look after us in our study matters and are really supportive. They see us as their own children and cares as their own children.
