Strict to the core, Only college in Mumbai university which fines students with a fine of 5000 Rs and confiscates the cell phones, if found using in Campus, no matter even if it is in canteen/ cafeteria. Submission deadlines are strictly followed and you got to have more than 75% of attendance overall. They don't even spare you from being a defaulter even if you have a percent less than that.

AIEEE, CET AIEEE score was 98, CET Score was 88 This is the best college i could get into, being a student from Pune University served as an advantage for me, as the OHU cutoff for colleges located in Mumbai is far less as that compared to the Home University cut offs.

Education wise the college is a great place to pursue your Engineering graduation course in any of the Subjects, but the major flaw (for Engineering Students) is that the college administration is really strict to the core. So it's like all academics first, fun later.

No the college does not provide any sort of Internships during the semester end breaks, but student could opt to do internships on their own, the college would provide all sort of support required for the same such as recommendation letters etc.

This is one of the best Navi Mumbai based Engineering college known well for it's placements and providing world class job opportunities. Companies coming for placements ranges widely from Startup's to the Big names, Fields of recruitment is not only constrained to IT but there are few companies hiring for Marketing, Digital Marketing, Sales and other profiles as well. The average pay offered by every company back in 2014 was around 3.2 lpa, while there also had been few other companies which offered a dream payout of 8-10 lpa to freshers.

Tatva, Moksh, Lakshya is the name of the college fest celebrated chivalrously every year which has become a massive success lately. Tatva - Moksh comprises of all the cultural events ranging from Dance competitions to a Metal fest organized within the premises of the college. Lakshya is the Inter college sports events organized at a grand level.

The college is bit expensive as compared to other colleges around. But the extra money students chip in is all worth it because of the lab facilities the college provide. One of the best things about this college is that they don't allow Management Quota seats lately, As in they don't accept donations, so need an admission in SIES, Prove yourself first.

Not sure if the college provides any financial aid for education or any scholarships. They just give you an Option to pay the Tuition fees in chunks with few pre-defined deadlines.

The college is well know for all the technical extra curricular activities such as National level TPPs, Projects, Robotics etc. The IETE and IEEE student forum of SIES is one of the most active forums among the colleges in Mumbai. Techxter is a National level TPP organized every year by the IETE student forum which had been a massive success. Other events Include Cognition which is a pure technical fest host by the college with few huge names as sponsors for the event. Sports is not much encouraged in the college but students manage to form a decent team for all the sports activities and actively participate in all inter college events.

Theres no hostel facility provided to engineering student by the college. The food from the canteen is good with the only drawback is that its a pure vegetarian vendor. I had been staying in a rented apartment near the college it self, The rent ranges from around 10k to 20k for a 1bhk apartment. In mycase it was 15k for a furnished 1bhk apartment back in 2014, we had 3 people staying together. Finding room mates is not an Issue in Nerul, as it is the hub of education in Navi Mumbai, there are many colleges around the area, so people to share an apartment with is easy to find.

Seniors and Alumnus had always been helpful whenever you needed any. The college regularly organizes Alumni meets every year to keep in touch with the passed out students which encourages networking among the Seniors and the Juniors in the college.

Exams are as per the MU norms, Semester wise pattern, There are Internal Exams (prelims) before every semester and the college makes it mandatory to pass in these Peliminary exams. In cas any student flunks in these test, he has to reappear for retests until he passes one.

Each and every faculty scores a perfect 10 on the scale of 10, when it comes to their ability to impart knowledge to students and teaching. Every department has got a good no. of Omniscient staff for every subject. Practicals had been fun and a learning experience like never before. Special attention were given to projects and other extra curricular academical activities such as National level TPPs, Certifications, Various Student forums such as IEEE, IETE.
