Remarks

The college was good and placement was also good. I think the college should keep reasonable fees.

Entrance Preview

After completion of 12th science, I got admission to VIT college. The staff is very good and experienced. The college campus is very good and there are sufficient labs. My time the fees were also reasonable. The placement is also good and VIT is recognised as one of the best colleges in Pune.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It is really good. They try to provide as best as possible focus. My time.the course structure was decided by Pune university. Now the college is autonomous and they decide the syllabus. I think this will help to have good course structure because they can incorporate new trends in the technology.

Internships Opportunities

Almost all best companies had come for campus. To List , Tcs, infosys, Kirloskar, Forbes Marshall, IBM etc. The CTC varies from company to company but normally they provide good package.

Placement Experience

3

My time 30 to 40% engineers were placed. The package varied from 1.8 Lakh to 7 L. I don't.remember.exact package offered by each company however I can assure that the talent will get proper value and best package as per the industry standards. So rest assured for the CTC.

College Events

3.5

Every year we had one visit to manufacturing industry. Every year we had gathering and it was fun. Before gathering we celebrated days like traditional day etc. It was really fun. We had paper presentation competitions arranged every year. That helped us to understand latest trends in various technologies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My time fee was reasonable. In heard now that fees are increased a lot. I think right now it is autonomus and fees are little higher. I will request college to give some attention on this point because there are some students who can't afford those fees and college should help such students.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not taken any so can't comment. But I think.college have some scholarship programs which could benefit students.

Campus Life

4

In 200 the girls were less but later the girls students started to join and improved the strength. Now I hope that there will.be balanced.gender ratio. There was no politics, no race, religion problem. In Mechanical earlier there were.very few girls but now I think there will be more girls in Mechanical. There are many design companies and they promote girls for jobs.

Hostel Facilities

4

I had never used college hostel. They built it later. I think it was good but little expensive. There are many PGs available in that area along with private hostels. The cost in that time was from RS. 1500 to 3000. Now I think they might have increased. However people can take flat on share if they are in groups. This could reduce monthly expenses.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes they were helpful. Many seniors guided on how can we.built career and what courses should be done after completion of BE.

Exam Structure

The exam was semister wise. Every year we had 2 semisters. They were conducted by Pune university. Each year we had few design subjects, then manufacturing subjects also some management subjects.so well balanced. In the final.year we had industrial project along with its presentation.

Faculty

4

The faculty was good and had industrial experience. Because of that experience it helped students to understand practical difficulties in the task. The experience of all teachers that time was minimum 15 years. The teachers were interested enough to teach the students and I think that's why the people choose this college.

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
