Chitkara University - Good Placements

In Chandigarh, it's one of the best choices, as far as placement is concerned. You have to work hard if you want to crack good companies like MakeMyTrip, ola, uber, etc. No Google, Microsoft, but you can always go for GSOC or Off campus placements. Admission is direct, just need 60% + in class 12th.

Computer science is best in b.tech. / b.e. as far as placement is concerned. If you have an interest in any other field, can go to a local government college. Faculty as of every college is bad, teaching is not good as any other college. Working days are Mon - Fri, and the time is 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. But the workload is high, keep that in mind.

MakeMyTrip gave an internship to a senior. Make 1 or 2 good projects, keep your basics clear about what you have done, start studying from the first year only then you will be able to get a good one with a stipend also.

From 3rd year internship starts, the company offers a good package, one of the senior got in MakeMyTrip for an 8 LPA internship. Just practice hard and you can crack good packages, that is the main thing here. Placements are average as it's a private university.

The fees of Computer Science is 82,000 per semester and if you opt for the hostel, it's around 60,000 per semester. So it's not cheap, you should study hard here. Placements are OK, if you have skills, you will be placed in good company. No scholarship as of now.

Clubs and events are very much active, whether it's dance singing drama, every week or month there is an event or competition. Don't know about the library as there is still online classes going on. Infrastructure is nice as compared to others.
