Entrance Preview

I gave CET, Sinhgad College is one of the finest colleges among Pune, and have good placement record. Admission process was straight forward, it was centralized i gave my choices as per my marks and accordingly they allot me this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course was good, but from research point of view it is not well designed. Means University have to work on it to make it more precise, and i think they should emphasize on practical based study also. I Chose Electrical Engg but we do not had choice to chose our electives.

Internships Opportunities

No college doesn't provide internship, they believe in study first and then application, its not actually college's fault, its university's. But i personally feel there should be internship.

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunities are good, but problem is fore core engineering branches market opportunities are very less so our college failed to give placement for electrical engineering students. Still Lots of companies came for Computer n IT like Accenture, Infosys, Cognizent and they did huge recruitment and the gave package of 3L p.a. And the highest package was 4.75L P.a Given by Atlas Copco

There are lot of festival we celebrated in our college like Teacher's day, engineering Day, Independence Day, also talking about events, Our institute(Sinhgad Institute) conduct an event where all colleges from institute and university are invited and lots of different competitions ere there

Fees and Financial Aid

No i don't think our college offered any loan scheme or scholarship all scheme ere offered by university. College doesn't took care of their students.

Exam Structure

Exam Days were not that much hectic because we get preparation leave for exams, and talking about lab schedule they were planned before preparation leave. But for students having backlogs might be feeling hectic. Because exams were conducted at the same time of main exams so it might be a stressful.

Faculty

Faculty is good, well educate and have interactive skills, they use their experience in innovative manner. Also good thing is college had a single faculty for single subject and they all were good in their own. They taught us very well. And management team is also good, and playing vital role in student education.

Sem 6 is considered preferable for the college placement many students starts getting placed from that, many companies like wipro, mahindra & mahindra, tcs, capgemini, etc. visits each year to the college each and every students gets atleast a offer to them few also gets more than one like 2 to utmost 3 also,750+ students got offered at the final year of 2023 if we include internship offer than it goes more than 1200, in campus highest package was 12lacs off campus was 62lacs, (85%)+ of the students gets placed each year in the college. After i get degree i would try for college placements and would also focus parallely for the off campus placements too, and ofc wherever i will get the highest placement i would go for it.

I applied for a large number of colleges before NBNSCOE few of them are : • COEP, Pune • DY Patil, Akurdi • SCOE, Vadgaon And in the first round i got JSPM, Wagholi... which i didn't choose cause i knew i could gett better and i got it.... I couldn't make it to other colleges because the cutoffs of those college for the stream i want was way higher than that i scored in MHT-CET exam... Admission in my college takes place through JEE/MHT-CET... mostly student prefer MHT-CET cause it is a bit easy as compared to JEE... I got admission in this college through MHTCET CAP rounds counselling. Sinhgad Institute is already a well-known and well-reputed institution in Pune. You'll have to attempt the MHTCET exam and get a good score, preferably over 90 percentile to get a good branch or your preferred branch in this college. There are also All India seats allotted through JEE score.
