Remarks

JSPM's RSCOE is a Great college located in Tathawade, Pune. The admission is conducted on the campus itself, the dates are made available on the college website, this college has also won the best college award in 2008.

Course Curriculum Overview

The IT department has Highly Qualified staff, my interest in Information technology has exponentially grown after learning at RSCOE, there are GFMs alloted to every 20 students, all the semester exams are conducted regularly including quizzes and mock tests.

Course Fees: INR 64305 per year

Placement Experience

The campus placements are Growing per year and also the highest package offered. Last year the highest package offered in the IT Department was 18 LPA. Various Renowned companies like TCS, AMAZON, ACCENTURE visit campus for recruitment.

Fees and Financial Aid

If the college is alloted as per merit basis then the fee is really affordable. The fee for General Category is 1,13,300/- as per this year, then the concessions are made according to the Category benefits.

Campus Life

The campus life is really good, the college is culturally very active various fests are held in the college and it also Participated infests and competitions held by other colleges like COEP Zest, Karandaks etc.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
