Remarks

I was interested in the supply chain and NITIE is famous for its supply chain. So I choose NITIE over IIT. There are only a few colleges who provide MBA through the GATE exam and NITIE is one of them. Since it is near to my home town, it was an advantage for me. IT has a good ROI.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have complete my engineering from the Mechanical department. So I choose Post graduate diploma in manufacturing management which I think to provide an edge to me. NITIE's faculties are Phd holders and have very good knowledge of their subjects. Some of them have a very vast experience in teaching.

Course Fees: INR 625000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Yes, Nitie provides internship opportunity mainly off-campus. From the first-day od college, they start your training and skill development so that you get the best internship opportunity. There were many companies such as Cisco, P&G, Amazon, Cipla etc were present for the summer recruitment.

Placement Experience

The placement of NITIE is 100%. Each and every student get placed here with a good package. The student has to align skills according to the company he/she wants. College provides a senior as a buddy which helps us in our communication skill and organizes various skill development sessions. The highest salary was 27.78 lakh, the average salary was 17.01 lakh in 2019.

Fees and Financial Aid

My PGDMM two year fees were 12,50,000 including hostel, tution fees, etc. Being GATE qualified we have been given 12,400 per month through MHRD. A student having a low family income is exempted from tution fee which lowers their burden of the student.

Campus Life

Due to the COVID situation, students were not allowed to come physically to the campus. But before covid situation, there were lots of activity. In this situation, NITIE has organised an online activity to encourage and build personality in students.

MY EXPERIENCE AT INDIAN SCHOOL OF MEDIA

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement after 2nd semester examination. Indian School of Media have tie-ups with top 209+ companies in the media space and they provide students internships and placements in one of these companies. Companies like DNA Entertainment, Yash Raj Films, BALAJI Telefilms etc. My plan after graduation is to work for a digital marketing company.

From the end of your second semester campus placements take place. The college has tie-ups with the top 209 companies in the media space which include Ogilvy, Yshraj Fils, Quotient Communications, Victor Tango, Balaji Telefilms, Cogmat etc. The college also provides 100% placement assistance to every student. The college was also rewarded as the institute with the best placements during the pandemic as it had managed to place all the students.

Remarks:

ISBM is one of the best private B-Schools in India and also ranked 8th among the 20 West B Schools and 9th rank in Top Private Institutes. The institute is well-known and the program that I wanted to pursue was only one-year long here, all the good aspects such as impressive placements, rigorous curriculum, easily approachable and distinguished faculty members, student-driven campus, etc encouraged me to apply for this institute. For the application process, I had to pay an amount of INR 700 while submitting my application form through the official website of the college.

The college of practical thinker

Remarks:

Being a fully residential campus there is complete focus on all aspects of student life, like and games, gymnasium, entrepreneurial activities, social events, and recreation. The learning environment is quite motivating and also relaxing. Classrooms, as well as the living accommodations, are also excellent.
