Best Private B-School: ISBM

ISBM is one of the best private B-Schools in India and also ranked 8th among the 20 West B Schools and 9th rank in Top Private Institutes. The institute is well-known and the program that I wanted to pursue was only one-year long here, all the good aspects such as impressive placements, rigorous curriculum, easily approachable and distinguished faculty members, student-driven campus, etc encouraged me to apply for this institute. For the application process, I had to pay an amount of INR 700 while submitting my application form through the official website of the college.

My PGDM program is only one-year long and provides the most in a tightly packed curriculum. ISB&M Post-Graduate Program ideally aims to help us develop high profile corporate careers on long term, and also help us seek promising break. We have some of the top class professors who have in-depth knowledge of each subject. They Interact with us and their doubt solving techniques help us in creating a better academic environment.

The placement cell of my institute helped us in getting the best placement from one of the best MNCs like LG, Raymond's, Fullerton, Deloitte, Citibank, Sony, PepsiCo, and so on. Over 90% of my batchmates got placed within 3 months of graduation. The average salary package that was offered was around INR 8 LPA.

ISB&M is among the institutes that has very high tuition for it's programs but the fee is all worth the degree. The total tuition fee of my program was INR 12.50 Lacs. But luckily my parents were able to afford this amount but it might not be affordable for some students, and for them various Scholarships are available for the Deserving and they can also apply for study loan if they want to get some Financial assistance.

Our college was student-driven and there were various cells run by us students, which really helped us in gaining more practical knowledge as well as learn something new. Events and conferences were also organized by us, which made sure that we also enjoy and learn at the same time. By working on these events and conferences, we were able to know about the market and also interact with various head of companies. Other than this, the infrastructure included facilities like library, hostel, fully-equipped classrooms, auditorium, 24x7 WIFI access, security, etc.

I did had to go through a personal interview process during which I was asked various questions related to General Awareness, Current Affairs, Work Experience, Personal interests, academic records, etc.
