Remarks

Best in the country for Industrial Engineering. Interests aligned. Legacy of 50 years of excellence. Located at the financial hub of the country, i.e. at the heart of Mumbai. Well connected alumni network.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is aligned with my interest. Well qualified and reputed faculty from a diverse backgrounds. The course contents and expected outcomes are well defined. Good feedback received from previous students.

Course Fees: INR 14000000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship is mandatory in the coursework. The statistics are also available in the website. Highest stipend 3.2 lakhs, with Average stipend 1.2 lakhs. Prominent recruiters include BMW, SIEMENS, Amazon, Abbott, etc.

Placement Experience

Placement statistics are available on the institute website. Highest Salary 58.2 Lakhs per annum, Average Salary 20.88 Lakhs per annum. Prominent recruiters include Amazon, Deloitte, Flipkart, Airtel, General Electric, HUL, ICICI Bank.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is available on the institute's website. It's around Rs 1200000 to Rs 1400000 for two years. It is quite low when compared to other IIM's which charge around Rs 20-30 lakhs. The various central government, state government, private and alumni scholarships are available for those who need them.

Campus Life

The campus is lush green and situated next adjacent to Vihar Lake. The hostel is available to all students as it is a residential program. Large, spacious, and well-equipped library and classrooms. More than a dozen clubs are functional which conducts events throughout the year. Overall very vibrant campus life.

Interview Experience

Group discussion was not conducted due to COVID. The personal interview was in virtual mode. Interview questions were primarily based on work experience and current affairs. Revise the engineering concepts and keep yourself updated in current affairs to do well in the interview.

What to expect from NITIE, Definitely is what you think

Placement Experience:

in the first semester, there is SIP, then the final placements, which start around November. there are all big players coming to NITIE but FMCG companies are abundant. The Big 4 and Mckiensy also visits for consulting. there are about 500 offers made. Highest Package: 78.2 LPA Average Package: 26.8 LPA Profiles tend to be supply chain related but not limited to it. 100% of students get placed. To enter into a big consulting firm and thereafter become a partner of it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is mainly in the field of operations and supply chain domain. We are taught various subjects like optimization, AI/ML, data analytics, OB-HR, marketing, finance, ethics, economics etc. The student-faculty ratio is 70:1 The faculty have a good academic background and are highly experienced. Some of them have worked in the industry and have strong industry knowledge. Here we have modules and each module is of 3 months. We have a mid-term of 20 marks after 2 months and an end term in the last month. The paper is neither too difficult nor too easy. It doesn't contain direct questions. It's generally a case-based question paper.

Placement Experience:

Summer internship placements are done within three months of joining the college and many students get PPOed. For those who are not PPOed, the final placement drives start in December month. Placements are better than most of the IIMs. NITIE is always known for good placements. Every year 100% placements are given to students with a wide variety of sectors and profiles. The average package is around 25.4 Lakhs per year. Internship Opportunities are best compared to IIMs.

In the 3 semesters, the students are eligible to the campus whole are all clear in all the subjects, there are more than 15 company visited like john distillery radico, united distillery and more company, almost the all company made an offer the highest package is about 8 lakh a minimum package about 2.5 lakhs and the more than 70%-80% get placement in the company.

Placement Experience:

Placements are conducted in two phases, In one phase student with less the 24 months of Experience and in another phase students with greater than 24 months of Experience. Companies such as DHL, Delivery, FedEx, Infosys, Amazon, etc. companies visit the campus Average package is around 16 Lac per Annum.

Yes,I would like to say that there must be a cafeteria inside the campus which they should keep open 24/7.One good thing About NITIE is that it is situated in Mumbai, so you could hang on for whole night.
