The college management is very helpful. Any kind of complaint or request is resolved within that day an it never takes too long.

I didn't took any other entrance exam other than NICMAR's own NCAT because my target was already set and I was sure that I would achieve it. Result of that exam is not publicly announced and they only say whether you got the admission or not. The reason why opt for this college is because the curriculum programs are very unique and really gives practical knowledge which is very important in Civil field.

The course structure is not complex at all. 6 trimester(each of 3 months) and 8 weeks of industrial training. These all trimester contains technical as well as managerial subjects. In every subject everyone has to give a presentation on given topic and there is also thesis writing as well. So, basically you study, present, research and in between manage your time to do other activities. It's all in one package.

Yes, it do. I haven't gone through the process yet, so I can't describe my experience but from seniors I got to know that the process is similar to the final placements. Company comes and interested and eligible students go through GD and PI and then selected students gets the opportunity to get internship in that company for 8 weeks. Generally everyone gets the internship as there are so many company visiting the college, thanks to out placement committee.

The 1st one is UDBHAV and it is just after beginning of the college. It's celebrated a whole week in which every students are grouped into 50 students each randomly. so everyone gets to know each other personally and various events are organized each day i.e. dancing, acting, talent hunt, DJ night, singing. All cultural festivals are celebrated in our campus as students are from all corners of the country. There are other two technical events which are celebrates are CHAKRAVIEW and TECHNIKALA.

2 yr PGP ACM fees are 10.5 lacs and hostel fees are around 2 lacs if you look at the fee structure for the 1st time you might seem to get the idea that it is expensive. but when you actually get the service of it, you will feel that it's all worth it labs are equipped with all latest licensed version software and other instruments. Here in Pune, there is always shortage of water and electricity but I never had faced any inconvenience regarding to this problem because the whole campus is connected with backup generator and water tanks are always ready.

Gender ratio is our college is about 72% male and 28% female. People are coming to NICAMR form almost every state of the country and every states cultural festivals and events are celebrated in campus. There are extracurricular activities like cricket, basketball, football etc. and our college team participates in every sports event which tool place in vicinity. I would not say that our college teams in sports and technical events are best in the whole city but they are good,

Most of the hostel rooms are of single occupancy with bed, table and a cupboard. Fees is around 4000 Rs./month. If no seats left in campus hostel they provide accommodation outside the campus in other hostel with similar fee structure in which rooms are of shared occupancy. Mess food charges Rs. 185 a day in which it serves breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner. Food taste is not so good but material used and the mess kitchen is very clean. SO it's hygienic and every Sunday there is feast.

Seniors are very helpful in NICMAR. From the beginning of the curriculum they meet us frequently and asks how they can be helpful. We always take their advise 1st before doing any new thing like, starting a research paper, organizing an event, how to prepare for exams, which subjects to choose, etc.

There are only 2-3 labs in a week and exams are not so frequent. So all days are not busy days. Only the last month of the trimester is very busy because of class tests are going on every weeks and presentations are also going on. Besides that we also have to prepare for final exams. In final exams there are no gaps between two consecutive exam, so one might feel pressured in that situation but if you have studied well through out the trimester, there is no need to worry.

I filled the online admission form and waited till the examination date. There was a written test and an personal interview. The written test paper was quite lengthy to be completed in given time and thereafter i faced the PI which was quite good if you know the basics of your line and for what you are applying. They also might test some of your skills but that was not in my case. And then when evaluation period was over I got the mail of admission letter and finally my journey begun.

All faculty are more than qualified to teach their respective subjects and behavior of them towards the students is very generous. They are always there to guide students whenever help is needed and they also share their personal experience in class to know things better.
