Remarks

So, the reasons for which I took admission into this colleges are firstly it's recognition i.e. this college is recognised as Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation by DISR, Ministry of Science and Technology that comes under Govt. Of India. Also, our NICMAR offers training in specialized areas like real estate management, construction management, Infrastructure management and allied areas. Also, it has been granted by UNDP. Further, the placement rate to-date is 99.6% of the course I opted for. And the college fee is not so high as compared to other management colleges with so many facilities. So, these were the reasons but now I am going to mention the whole process of admission. So, first of all, I checked the eligibility criteria then I proceeded to fill the form and provided all the details asked there. Based on my score acquired in MAT exam, I got shortlisted and I was called for GD and PI rounds. I turned up for the selected procedure round and my performance was good. Later on, they saw my performance, previous academic record, score in management exam and then I got admission offer letter.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum of the PGP ACM program is well structured and reviewed time to time to include the latest evolution in Construction, Real State, Infrastructure, and Project (CRIP) in order to develop competence in the diversed area. Moreover, the program is prepared in a way to make us a professional who could take up all the responsibilities to Infrastructure development and real estate projects. Further, our faculties hold experience of more than 10 years of both academics and industries. Also, they use modern methodology to teach us the management program and blend the practical and the theoretical knowledge with research work and case studies. Also, they guide us properly before the placement session and develop technical skills including project management, valuation, valuation, investment, construction in real state management and others.

Placement Experience

4.5

Last year, the total number of companies visited the our campus were 123 and 99.6% seniors from our program i.e. PGP ACM were placed. Further, the average compensation package was 6.75 lpa. Along with the package, many of my seniors also got allowances, reimbursements, transportation, site allowances, variable pay, accommodation in their offers. Now most importantly, the top employers that offer jobs are HDFC Realty, Reliance Industries Ltd, L&T Construction, JMC projects, Capacity Group, ITC, Kumar Builders and many others. Also, 10-15% students from our senior batch secured overseas placements

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for PGP ACM program is 13.1 lakh for two years. In this amount, only the tuition fee, examination fee, admission fee, security deposit are included and hostel and food charges are additional. Since, I stayed in hostel campus, I paid 50 thousand extra amount per year for double occupancy. Also, there is provision to pay the fee in installments i.e. before 7 days of the commencement of each semester, fee must be deposited and so I did. Moreover, our college offers several scholarships but eligible can get benefit of only one scholarship for a particular academic term. So the scholarships provided here are NICMAR Top Ranker's scholarship, NICMAR Merit Scholarship, and NICMAR Excalibur Award Scholarship.

Campus Life

4.5

The college infrastructure is quite amazing and has modern classrooms, library, computer labs, conference halls, indoor and outdoor sports complex, food court, internet connectivity, auditorium, and hostel facilityAlso, there is student council in our college whose members are responsible for organising various activities. Also, the events that are conducted constantly are Technikala - the annual inter-college techno-cultural fest organised in February every year, NICMAR Premier League(NPL), academic conclave, REVERBZ - intra-college cultural fest, SPARDHA- annual intra-college sports competition, and many more. These are the happenings through which I have created so many memories of this college and my campus life is going tremendous.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As this college is under mumbai university so this college cannot modify syallbus in their own the have to strictly follow the university prescribe syallbus, academic timelines, rules and norms of the mumbai university. I have taken the admission in this college in the year 2024 from this year the NEP-2020 was adopted by the every indian universities and instituites. Since NEP-2020 was adopted also by mumbai university some new subjects are added to the syallabus that are oriented to financial literacy,Entreprenuianl, indian laws related subjects the syallubus of this subject is very good to see in the syallabus pdf. But the ground reality is different this subject is not given much importance by faculties the are treated as not much important subject as their are not related to our course as a result the students also take these subjects lightly. Also the professors appointed for this subjects are not much good they appoint the faculties who are recent graduates of their college who are working now as a professor in the same college. The college treat this subject lectures as an practice for the fresh faculties to gain experience of how to teach students. The core subject syallbus is same not changed the mumbai university has just changed the name of the subject. The college professors just teach the subject but they do not teach in that way that it makes us ready for real world problems. And also in the first year all the subjects are common for all the branches of the engineering which consist of subject like physics, chemistry, mechanics,Basic electrical Electronics,Engineering Graphics. It is my opinion why should an student who is studying an course called Computer Engineering so why should i read the subjects of the other branches like civil, mechanical, electrical and electronics in my first year instead of my domain subjects for whole two semester and the timespan of almost an year
