A Life in NICMAR!

Eligibility criteria were B.E or B.Tech or Architect or any graduate programme. All the forms are available on the site of the college. The entrance exam was held followed by Personal Interviews. The scholarship was provided to the students who scored well on the entrance test. Cut off was not revealed.

I completed my UG in Civil Engineering and wanted to pursue some management courses and NICMAR provided it well. Considering it's value NICMAR has great number of admissions every year for which the faculty staff is also well numbered. Each faculty member is a doctorate level highly professional professor and their teaching method is all too well. Exams were conducted time to time and was not much diddicult to pass.

For internships college provided facilities. Many companies in search of fresh interns from NICMAR and recruit in great number. Some major companies offered stipends to students too also with PPO. Other than internships Minor projects are also alloted to students to increase their knowlodge in different fields of Civil Engineering, Infrastructure, and Real Estate.

The campus has a special committee of students who help all the students to get placements in the best and big companies with a satisfactory package. Many of the big companies like Shapoorji Pallonji, L&T, Godrej, TATA, etc have recruited students from NICMAR.

Normal tuition fees are 15 Lakhs for two year full-programme courses. The scholarship was given to students who scored well in the entrance test and in the end trimester exams. For the fees, bank loans were available by HDFC Credila. They have tie up with colleges to help students with fees.

The college had the best Social Life. Each festival was celebrated with all the joy and traditions involving all the students from all different cultures. Sports events were carried out for all the students. Technical conferences were also held from time to time. The library has all kinds of material on all the subjects taught in the course. Classrooms are much comfortable with A.C and long benches for 4 to 5 students to sit. There were a Dance club, music club, fashion club, drama club, startup club, photography club and much more for the students to show their skills. Students got closer more in the Hostels.

Boys hostel had single occupancy and girls hostel had 1 building with sharing of two. Electricity, bed, wardrobes, ethernet port were available in the room. The hostel mess provided food 4 times a day two snacks and lunch and dinner. Meal and menu were both good and staff is very friendly.

The entrace test included Aptitude, Data interpretetion, Verbal, etc. And the next round was a Personal Interview. Which was normal with questions like Introduction, graduation, interested subjects, etc.
