Entrance Preview

JEE ,nearly 2 lakh i like design and manufacturing. Same time it is closer to my home compare to IIT D&M, jabalpur.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, our college provide 5 months intern ships to students and we can choose our own internships also based on our talent.

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunities are good at our college. Hcl, ashok lyland ,tech mahindra and other companies will also come us as for placements . For last year passed out students nearly annual income is 3.5 to 15 lakh . And other companies also come for placements TCS, TATA ,paytm, turbo energy limited ,apolo tyres limited,pricol, cognizant technology and solutions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure at iit dm, kancheepuram is very good for a SC/ST students whose faster income is less thane 4.5 lakh they provide scholarships and for other students its near by 52000. For sc/st students whose income greater than 4.5 lakh the fee around 27,000.

Fees and Financial Aid

Institute awards a lot of scholarships / financial assistance to students based on merit and parental income levels. The Institute is awarding the following scholarships Merit-cum-Means Scholarship, Merit-cum-Means Scholarships of Rs.1000/-p.m. are sanctioned to 25% of eligible B.Tech students whose parental income is less than Rs.4.5 lakhs. Further they are also exempted from payment of tuition fees.

Campus Life

Campus life is good. The gender ratio is good at our college 50-50 boys and girls. Extra curriculam is also good at our college last week they conducted a event about rasberry pi and it coding. Coming to the sports every year inter department matches will be conducted in department wise.

Exam Structure

In our college exam structure is very good. They divided the exam pattern into 3 patterns quiz 1, quiz 2 and end sem. Exams and labs leaving with hectic day. While examination they will provide good facilities. Some professors conduct lab exams as open book exams the question are very tough.

Beyond the classes: My College Experience

Placement Experience:

Our college is well known for its placements. Almost many MNC companies like Amazon,TCS, visit our college and recruit the top performing students.Students are instructed to do 30 days of internship in remote,hybrid or industrial online before their 6th semester.During the 7th semester, students become eligible to attend the placements. The highes package offered previous year was 21 lakhs per annum and the average package is around 5 lakh per annum. Here students receive 3 options 1. Placement 2. Masters 3. Government Exams . As far off noe, 98%percentage of students who opt for placements get placed. I want to get placed after finishing my degree.

I applied to NIT CALICUT NIT SURATKAL, NIT TRICHY. For my trial round i got nit suratkal for EEE. But i shifted it to down and kept iiitdmk up..I chose this as it was the only college with Smart Manufacturing. Course and i was intrested in the way the curriculum was set including Cs,ece,eee Nd mechanical.As my jee score was not great to enter cse courses in nit calicut i got rejected there.
