Firstly, it was my best call to convert, and thankfully I was able to do it. It has been one of the best performing IIMs, and within a span of six years, it has established itself among the top 40 B-Schools of the country in the lastest NIRF Business Schools Ranking. Secondly, its students have been top performers at various B-School competitions like get Set to Go by Future Generali, Business Analytics Hackathon, TATA Crucible Hackathon, ONE PLUS ET prime, The FLIP National Challenge, V-Guard Big Idea Business Plan, to name a few. What these performances reflect is the commitment of faculties to raise the bar of management education. Thirdly, the location factor. Being situated at the core of India, it is easily reachable by all the stakeholders. Also, as the students from the academic year 2021 would be shifted to the new 132-acre state of the Art campus at MIHAN industrial area, it will give the institute a strategic advantage.

There are various courses available at IIM N, which are as follows 1. The flagship Post Graduate Program in Management. 2. Doctoral (PhD.) Program 3. Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship (Under Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship) I got selected for its flagship course. It is a two-year M.B.A. program, which is divided into six terms. At the end of the first year, we go for our Summer Internship to get the mandatory industry exposure. The students' faculty ratio is that of one faculty and an academic associate for a bunch of 50 students. Most of the faculties are P.hd holders from top institutes of India and abroad. We have feedback forms for both the course and faculty, midway and the fag end ff each term, which helps in better communication among the faculty, students, and the PGP office. Each term's evaluation process is well spread out and includes class participation, surprise quizzes, assignments, group projects, presentations, Midterms, and End terms.

IIM N has a strong industry network, and students have endless offers to choose from. It has been achieving a 100% summer placement mark faster than most of the IIMs. With the drastic increase in average stipend (61k) and highest stipend (250k), I believe there is no looking back for IIM N. And all these magical figures are the result of the rigorous academic curriculum that the institute focuses upon. Some prominent recruiters were Bank of New York Mellon, HPCL, V-Guard, Philips Carbon Black, Reliance, to name a few.

Campus placements are done twice. Firstly in the first year for a summer internship and then in the second year for final placements. IIM N even being a new institute has been showing positive results year on year and is frequently among the top five IIMs to achieve the 100% placements magical mark. For the summer internship, the preparation starts from the very moment you enter the college. The CV goes through multiple checks and is verified by the placement committee and post that verification only one can sit for the placement process. For the batch of 2019-2021, the prominent recruiters included Bain & Company, Xiaomi, Philips Carbon Black, TVS motors, Bank of New York Mellon to name a few. The average placement was 13.21 LPA and the median was 13 LPA.

The fee structure varies each year, but IIM N is still one of the country's best ROI institutes. There are ample opportunities in terms of scholarships. I am a recipient of one. The placement assistance that the college provides makes sure that the students never feel scared of their investments. Most of the students can repay their loans within a span of 3-4 years.

The college has tons of clubs and committees which make sure that no week goes without any events occurring. We have a student group for any activity one can think of. Also, the new campuses host a sports complex to cater to the needs of sports enthusiasts. We have 24*7 access to E-Library apart from the regular one. It is a one-stop solution to all our academic needs. The campus also houses a cricket and football stadium, which is under constructionand would be available very soon.

Hostels are newly constructed with all the major amenities. Roams are spacious, with an attached balcony for each room. The green campus builds upon its beauty. It is a residential program. Hence, each student accommodated in the hostels themselves. It helps in peer learning and making life-long connections.

Yes, there was an interview round, post the profile, and merit screening. The interview questions revolved around knowing my interests and sincerely towards M.B.A. It also included technical as well as current affairs questions. The admission criteria is a complex one, wherein first, the candidate needs to clear an overall cut-off and post that individual sectional cut-offs are seen. Once a candidate clears both of the mentioned cutoffs, a profile screening is done via a detailed application form, which the shortlisted students fill. Based on the merit scores and profile, a composite score is prepared, used for the interview shortlist. Upon successful completion of the interviews, the final merit lists are released of the selected candidates.
