JSPM’s RAJARSHI SHAHU COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING TATHAWADE is an Autonomous Institute under the Savitribai Phule University of Pune. The hostel location is in the college itself and it is available for both boys and girls. The placement is also good for all branches.

As the College is Autonomous the courses are related to the core branches of their respective branches. The Faculty Members are very supportive here than any other College. Always help students related Studies, Events, Sports.

I will give 8 out of 10 for Placement. The Placement offered here are really good Company like TCS, Veritas, Accenture are the main recruiters here. 100 out of 80 students got placed here. The highest package offered here is 18 lakh and the average package is 4.5 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are different for different categories of Students, As I am a Student of VJ Categories it cost me around 16k for one year and for obs it is 60k-70k. All types of scholarships are accepted here, the form of scholarships are filled by the college itself.

Campus Life

I assured you that you will get good College life here, all types of Events, Sports, Annual fest and Tech fest are held here. Clubs life Coding club, Robotic Club, Gate Club, Research Club, etc are famous Clubs in this College and you can easily participate in any of the clubs.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
