Course Curriculum Overview
Courses are very different in comparison to other colleges some other points: Anybody can attend any course in any department, provision of Auditing the courses, Can drop the course in between if not comfortable (without loss of grades), Every course follows basic+ advance(in next semester) , advance only covers the prior research papers from that area.
Internships Opportunities
Internship depends on the guide you are working with. Mostly focus is towards some research type project from industry. Stipend depends on the company but must be at least 20000 because already stipend in campus is 13000.
Placement Experience
Best in India, all research labs visit our campus, not much to say.
College Events
Samanvay, IISCconnect, Alumni Meet, Open day when all non-iiscians are invited to visit the campus. A detailed demo is placed from every lab on campus to show in what areas all are working. Participation is less in cultural events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Only 19000 Rs for full-year and we get 12400 per month back.
Hostel Facilities
Mess food is not that good but hostels are awesome, personal rooms are available for all the students.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumnus is very good, but the alumni network is not that strong but now we are focusing on that part to connect all of us.
Exam Structure
Days/nights are hectic but most of us enjoy working here some of the Exams are open book and unlimited time, Some are just focused on the set of research papers taught.
Faculty
Leaving some of the too old-faculty almost all are from best universities in the world (from Stanford, MIT, etc.)
