Remarks

Manipal is the best decision i ever made in my life so far and no regrets.

Entrance Preview

MU- OET is the name of the entrance examination, I scored 108 marks out of 180. This one among the entrance exams I appeared for after my 12th so that I can pursue my higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum is perfect. It covers the in depth and all the necessary concepts required and the best part is that it is designed in such a way that it would always be fun learning and it won't feel a burden. Apart from this you can also opt for other open electives from other branches so you are overall having a diverse knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college provides internships but most of them are usually mini projects rather than a wholesale corporate project. Stipend is usually less, it's around 12-15,000 Rs.

Placement Experience

4

Placements and job opportunities are really good. The university has many tie-ups and loads of well-recognized companies coming for placements. Students have a broad scope for job opportunities. Majority of the branches have 100% placement status.

College Events

5

There two fests for MIT, One is the technical fest which is called Techtatva and the other is Revels which is the cultural fest. Techtatva is organized the month of October. It is purely a technical fest and provides a great platform for people to showcase their ideas and represent their piece of work. Revels is organized in the month of March/April. It is a pure cultural fest. People get a chance to explore their inner artist and showcase their love for cultural activities. Students love this fest the most.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is actually towards the expensive side. So for an average middle-class family it goes heavy on their budget. The fee structure usually varies from branch to branch but over all it sums up to around 14-16 lac for four years the tuition fees is around two lac thirty-four thousand for one whole year and this fee keeps varying every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

I m not aware of the scholarships but the college do provides them. But yes, the SBI and various other banks do provide loans.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is amazing, gender ratio is fine and the best part is the diversity. This university is so active. there is always some or the other event taking place and it can be anything. It can just be a technical event or just a cultural event or a mixture of both. There are various clubs which take care of these events and they are amazing.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel facilities are decent. You get variety of rooms starting from common bathroom to attached and from single room to a triple sharing room. The university also provides Ac/ Non Ac both. Hostels are well maintained and the price varies from 45,000 to 1 lac. Mess facilities are amazing. The food quality and the hygiene is perfect.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors over here are the friendliest people i have met. They are very kind to their juniors and there is no such thing called ragging in this college. That was the best part.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is really good. You have two sessionals worth 15 marks each (total 30 marks) and you have 20 marks surprise assignments which are taken in class. A total of 5 assignments are taken (each assignment 4 m ) in the whole semester. In the end, there is an end semester exam which carries for 50 marks and the your gpa is evaluated out of 100 marks for each subject on a relative grading basis.

Faculty

4.5

All are well qualified and highly knowledgeable professors. They are friendly and always willing to help. Most of them have got their PHD's and they always carry out some project or the other. Many of them have also given paper presentation at national level. So overall you have a great faculty.

the placement rate says 100% but you have to be maintaining 7.25 cgpa in order to sit for the placements and they are classified into 1) mass recruiters 2) dream companies3) superdream companies for which you will need 9 and above cgpa. i personally am dependent on placement or i also am appearing for the GATE entrance exam in my 3rd year as well as my 4th year and will see where life leads me but honestly i just want to start working and gaibn indstry experience and make money and develop skills faster

They fake a lot of their placements....now the bangalore campus currently has 40%placements but they fake the placement rates to make it look like its 80 or 90% which is sad...i heard that if u have really bad marks and couldnt get placed(a lot of ece and eee people, cause they will purposefully try to fail u so that u can apply for the couse again) they will make u sign a document were u agree u never sat for placements.

Students at RVCE become eligible for campus placements typically from the seventh semester onwards. Several reputed companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering a wide range of job opportunities to students. Some of the prominent companies include Infosys, Wipro, TCS, IBM, and Accenture, among others. These companies make a significant number of job offers across various profiles, including software development, consulting, and research. The highest package offered varies from year to year and can range from ?10-20 lakhs per annum, depending on the company and the profile offered. The average package generally falls between ?4-8 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placements varies, but RVCE has a consistently high placement record, with a significant majority of students securing job offers during campus placements. As for my plans after completing the degree, I aim to explore job opportunities in the field of industrial management, leveraging the skills an
