Remarks

New campus, good placements, strict attendance of 75%, good education. I have to admit just after JEE Mains to Ashram Building where u can register for my college. The university provides really good education regarding information technology.

Course Curriculum Overview

Since, I wanted to do my research over different current technologies that are about to come in future, I chose this university as it has a new campus and provide many facilities to perform our desires.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 580000 per year

Placement Experience

From 6th sem the students become eligible for campusing. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys, Infotech, Turbot, Capital Numbers, NRI Fintech, Adobe, etc visited our campus. The highest average package offered was 11L per annum. From CS about 97% students get their placements.

College Events

The life is actually the corporate sectors. The university also provides a freshers fest and an annual fest. Books are available in libraries. Also have space for indoor sports curriculum. The cafeteria is also good and provides almost everything.

Campus Life

Everything is available from study stuffs to sports equipments. Also the university provides so many labs where we can do our job. The university also have there own cricket and football teams.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Heritage Law College is Lovely!!

Placement Experience:

Number of students who have been placed is far less than what it should be ideally. Kolkata is a paradise for law practice as it is the largest city of India and lawyers have always been in demand here. Still only 30% of the students are placed here and that's a big issue considering the name of our college.

Most of the students also get placement opportunities whether large or small package The opportunity is given to all degree whether it be bcom or bcom hons . Any student who does not get placed can easily use the degree to get a high paying off campus placements and to go to any good college or stay in this college for their post graduation.

The course curriculum is backdated and should be improvised as it doesn't give any exposure of present industry knowledge. The frequency of exams is that exams are held after 6 months on semester basis and are easy to pass and majority of the students pass this semester easily.

Decent government college which needs to improve.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is obviously outdated and the knowledge we get through it, is bookish and does not apply to present industry methods. This way we are given no exposure to the real life industry knowledge. The exams are held on semester basis after every 6 months and are easy and manageable.

If you come to this college this college is good the teachers are friendly and you will get the campus from the college if you study hard.

You can take admission in UEM Kolkata through IEMJEE Entrance Test or Direct Admission by giving 10,000/-. College review

Provide decent jobs to most students. Faculties are helpful and teach well. You can issue 3 books at a time from the library once your library card is made. Classes are held to enhance your communication skills. A lot of items in the canteen and cafeteria. No ragging. There is no ground to play. Very strict rules, has a lot of restrictions. Most students call it a jail, cause you cannot bunk classes. But believe me, it will shape you into a good human being and you will also get placed if you put your effort.
