Remarks

Totally I can say JNNCE is the best college. Highly qualified and dedicated Faculty is the best thing in this college.

Entrance Preview

I took PGCET examination and I got 933 rank. JNNCE is one of the best colleges in Karnataka. It ranked 57th among Top Technical colleges in India-OUTLOOK magazine Survey. It is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University and approved by AICTE.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure was very good.Structured courses with special emphasis on advanced topics such as DBMS, Software Engineering, Computer Graphics and Multimedia applications, prepare prospective IT professionals to the challenges of the future. There are Six Research & Development centers in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Sc. & Engineering, MBA. Engineering graduates can pursue their Ph.D and M.Sc (Engg) by Research at these centers.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't availed any scholarships/loans. Loan facilities are not provided by the college but they provide necessary documents required to get the loan from any financial institution and various scholarship facilities are available namely scheduled caste and schedules tribe scholarship. Every year they will give the scholarship of 18000 rs for backward category students,such as SC,ST,2A,3A,3B etc.

Exam Structure

Exam structure was very good. JNNCE has well Equipped lab with qualified technical staff. All the Labs are well equipped with latest configuration Pentium-IV computers, LAN, printers, Internet facility of 2 Mbps for 24 Hours, with WiFi connectivity etc. Internals were conducted every month and semester exams were conducted once in 6 months.

Its a very good college with almost all the required facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chosed artificial intelligence and data science because it has a very good future.the world now is depending on ai so its very useful for me to get a job. My college and the faculties r really preparing us so well for the real world applications. But they can still improve in the teaching methods. The frequency of the exams r really very good and even the time is very efficient, it will be quite difficult but its for improvement of our practical thinking.

Lower tier Engineering colleges

I had no idea about engineering , I scored very less in KCET surprisingly . I had no one for advice and people made it so obvious that engneering is the standard of education . I did not seek proper guidance and was mislead by admission sector people referring to Electronics as both software and hardware demanding sector and there is scope to grow .
