GATE(Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering): I got admission in SVNIT through GATE Examination. I Did Masters in Transportation Engineering & Planning. from 2013 to 2015.

Post Graduated with honors in Transportation Engineering & Planning. Overseas Studies Program: First and second semester focused on course work related to Highway design, Traffic Engineering, and Transportation Planning. Intelligent Transportation System and Traffic Flow theory as Electives. Third and fourth semester concentrated on Transportation Group project which was entitled "Evaluation of BRTS corridor using microscopic simulation and response surveys in SURAT"​ and Dissertation titled "Safety Assessment using proximal safety indicators for un signalized Intersection in Surat City".

Yes, It provides Internship in various IITs and Companies stipend for the Students who qualified in GATE will get 12,500 Rs Per Month. I got stipend for 24 months.

Placements wise Transportation Engineering Branch is pretty good. In 2015 Passed out Batch out of Nineteen (19) Seven are placed in Companies I am the one Among the Seven. Four are doing PhD work. Remaining Fellows placed as Assistant Professor in Various Colleges. I heard that My juniors also placed very well in this year(2016).

Freshers: My Seniors Welcomed with Freshers Party Superb Welcome Happened all of my Class mates performed Dances, Kasish: This Is Institute Freshers party B.Tech guys will Concern more in this Party Than M.Tech, SPARSH: one of the Best event I ever Experienced. Total Five days Full Fun, Enjoyment, Nukkad natak was my favorite thing in this event because My group got Second Prize, MMNCT: wonderful Night Cricket tournament from 7.30 Pm to 3.30 AM full fun and Enjoyment. in 2014 M.Tech First year guys got first Prize means My Batch mates. Farewell Parties: Simply Awesome.

For me It is feasible because I used to save Money from Stipend. I heard from my Juniors now they increased the fee. As we all know that Indian Govt is extremely favorable to Reservation. In my Perception the worst thing happened in my second year that Central Government removed the fee for ST and SC Guys.

Yes, Loan facility is available in State Bank of India Branch which is located in College itself. Scholarship Facilities by the College is also available.

Campus Life is very well. I enjoyed my two years with out any interruptions, gender ratios is very good in B.Tech. in M.tech gender ration is some what less compared to B.Tech. Good Environment in 250 Acres campus. Extracurricular Activities also good. Hindi Pakhwada Every Month at least 2 Events will happen.

Hostel facilities are Awesome: Sarabhai Bhavan is Pretty good. Gajjar Bhavan is Good. Hostel facilities like WiFi, water Cleaning are well managed. If any Problem occurs Students are the Main Co Coordinators to Hostel Chief- Warden. As per my View I came from South India, I thoroughly Enjoyed Hostel food except in Sunday and Saturday Nights. Breakfast items are Wonderful.

Alumni Batch of Transportation Engineering having face Book Group and Whats App Group. Both are very Active in terms of job related Updates and Birthday Wishes. In 2015 Transportation Group Organised Get together Program. I Prepared one Video for them. My seniors are very helpful and Very Funny.

In My Case Exams not went good. During My B.Tech Exams went very well. I got above 80% but in SVNIT, I got only 77% .Fifteenth position out of Nineteen. Two exams per day is very hectic. Pavement Engineering labs are Average. Traffic Engineering labs and experiments are very good.

In Transportation Engineering & Planning Course. Total Seven Faculties are working. Out of Seven Six Faculties are Doctorates with more than 10 Years of Teaching Experience and one Faculty is doing PhD in IIT Kharagpur. All Of my Faculties are very helpful they supported me a lot especially Katti Sir , Joshi Sir and Arkatkar Sir.
