I personally wanted to come to this college because of the environment and curricullum I had heard about. It has a proper amount of credibility adding to the career of a particular student. It conducts some really great sessions conducted sometimes with some expers/intrepreneurs which helps the students to shape their career accordingly. Admission here depends on your 12th grade and we also have a test on checking our English. Students who fail there even if he/she has good grades in 12th stands not eligible. Only 60 students per class so admission becomes that tough and this is why students run in to get admission here....Read More

I applied for the St Xavier's college park street, The bhawanipur education society and the St Xavier's University Newtown, in the courses of BBA and BCOM. I got into every college except St Xavier's park street. I chose JD Birla because of its better brand name and goodwill over other Colleges. I got rejected in the SXC Park St because of my poor performance in its BMS entrance examination . The admission process is online, the cut off is pass percentage in 10th and 12th , there's extra points for maths and there's also a group discussion round before the final selection....Read More

I aI'm from Asansol, a city in West Bengal that is 200 km away from Kolkata. So, my parents wanted me to stay near my hometown. So that in times of emergency, it's easy for me to reach my home.Firstly, I applied for BMS (Hons) at St. Xavier's College, Kolkata, but because of low marks in maths, I couldn't make it there. Secondly, I also applied for KiiT, Bhubaneswar, and luckily I got admission there, but they were offering me BBa BBAn Hospitality & Tourism, and in this course I was just not interested, and therefore I didn't go there. So, I got admission to JDBI. The admission procedure here is really very smooth and swift. Initially I got an email about my admission and all the details, and after paying the admission amount, I got a call from the college for document verification, and hence the admission was completed. Kolkata has the best faculty and environment for interior designing; no other college offers a better course in interior designing than JDBI....Read More
