Course Curriculum Overview

Our college follows the syllabus follwed by MAKAUT, which is updated by new programming languages like Python, OOps, Java. You would have 4 tests before every Semester examination which would help you to increase tour marks in your semester results. And faculties are very liberal while giving marks.

Internships Opportunities

I opted for an internship as a Full Stack Web Developer in Infinity Web, stipend with Rs. 6000/ month.

Placement Experience

Companies like TCS, WIPRO, COGNIZANT, INFOSYS etc. come for interviews. Mock interview session is also held in college many times before any interview.

College Events

Technical and cultural fests are held every year. Technical fest- Parikalpana (odd semester) and Sankalp (even semester), any student can participate in these events irrespective of their course. Cultural fests are inter college, students from many colleges participate here, Technical fest (Sankalp) is also a inter college fest.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college gives 25% of scholarship to every student if he/she scored 65% or above in 12th and gives 100% scholarship if his/her score is above 90% in 12th.

Campus Life

The campus has free wifi all over for the students to avail more and more information related to their course or project. The college has a big library where you can find any book related to your course, the books can be issued for the whole semester with no extra charges. The college labs has many equipments, having a pair of every equipment so that the student has no trouble doing a lab class. The college has a huge ground, where college football and cricket teams practice everyday, in addition the college has basketball grounds both for boys and girls. New commers can join any team if they are interested. Inter college tournament are held every year by the college.

Hostel Facilities

The college has four hostels, 1 for 1st year, 1 for marine, 1 for 2nd,3rd and 4th year and other one is for girls. The hostel rooms are big with 2 students in each room. The hostel is easy to avail as it is inside the campus, you just need to give a security money of 25,000( which is refundable) and the semester hostel fees and some easy paper work.

Amazing life

Everything is good other than the college management. After course completion students must get an opportunity to sit for an interview for job,students hardly get chance to prove themselves which is very sad. College brings many companies for other streams but for marine engineers hardly 1-2 companies come. And for other streams as well companies sometime turn out to be fake one. When students try to raise their voice against this system, they are treated brutally. They are made to give fines or put behind bars. Twice it has happened to our batch that principal brought police in campus and put students behind bars and made every single student of the batch to pay fine of Rs 25000 only because it was a misconduct that we raised our voice to get a chance to get job!!...Read More
