Remarks

it is a prestigious University in Kerala, it has higher rankings such as NIRF, NAAC, TIMES etc.University also offers better placements and and high quality education with better infrastructure. University offers a variety of Science and Technical courses.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is rare, only 2 institutions in Kerala offer this cours and which has higher opportunities. the faculties are very good and they are very helping and supporting. They offers many conferences and seminars for extra knowledge.

Placement Experience

4.5

7th semesters students can attend interviews. There should be no back papers for attending interviews. There is 100% placement in our department with average package of 3-5 lakhs per annum. Some students prefer higher studies and almost get admission in IITs and NITs.

College Events

There is department of youth welfare under which university Sports are conducted and there is Gym and Fitness Club with hundred rupees per month. there is also University arts festival and many other fest with attractive events. There are many clubs such as national service scheme, smile makers etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

University of first student aid fund for economically weaker and meritorious students. there is central and state scholarship schemes include the complete reimbursement of fees. students can also do part time jobs such as food delivery, tuitions, etc

Hostel Facilities

There is university hostels with monthly rent 300 and mess fee of about 2000. There is private hostels and PG facilities also near the campus. There will be annual fest in university hostels with many attractive programs

Admission

admission is based on rank obtained in CUSAT CAT exam which include physics, chemistry and maths of NCERT. interested candidates can register for exam. there is registration fee of 1500 and exam is in online mode

from semister 6 students become eligible for campus placements and companies loke bank of america , google microsoft etc visited for campus placements and the highest package is about 54 lakhs where as average is 11 lakhs and about 98% of the students are placed

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.
