Remarks

Campus placement - The companies that come to our college includes deloitte and EY which are one of the biggest LLP companies and dream job for many because of beautiful corporate life which drove me to GGDSD college and high packages around 6 lpa was offered.

Course Curriculum Overview

Industrial exposure - Before covid 19 scenario industrial exposure was provided but this covid 19 made it impossible. Faculties every faculty is decent but GGDSD college is known as best commerce college so yes it's best commerce college in chandigarh

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 62000 per year

Placement Experience

Deloitte, EY, L&T few of these renowned companies come to our campus for placement offering packages ranging between 4-6 lpa depending on you are bachelor or master degree aspirant but you must crack the interview as well and placement rates are low but high than other colleges last time to less people got placements only.

College Events

Campus life is not boring but not great well you may think GGDSD college have great crowd and environment but for me it's not its average for me don't have high expectations. events that are ongoing don't happen very frequently which i find really sadistic because we should organise more events at high level except just "Panache"

Placement are provided by the college and Good offers are made by the companies. Like in cse , ece and ee have good placements but in lower branch percentage placements is a bit lower, but overall average and median package is good ( 70%) Highest placement was 61 lpa of 2025 median was 13 lpa.

PEC life in a nutshell

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am in first year and first year is same for all branches, so I don't know a lot about electrical engineering specifically. But of what I have heard from seniors, electrical branch is more difficult, and in pec u get not that many core companies. While u get a lot of finance, IT, coding etc companies.

Inside of PGI chandigarh from bsc nursing point of view.

Placement Experience:

Students from 4rth year are eligible for placement. Pgi provide job for it's own students. Bond system is here. Students can apply for foreign jobs as pgi provide their degree and a sheet with completed number of hours as in clinical we need 100% attendance. Students who don't want to work in pgi can go to different hospitals as pgi is a recognized university they will get job easily. 80% students get job in pgi. As many new blocks are building here for future, they will require large amount of nursing officers so they will give job to their own university students. Some senior got their job with a high amount as salary with health benefits, hostel allowanc, travel allowance, and tax is included. Working hour are less here, people can switch there shifts with there workmates as per there convince. My plan is to work here as a nursing officer and do my master degree from pgi itself.

Yes,very good college placements are available in our college.Students of 8 semester that is 4th year students are eligible for campus placement Companies such as TCS,wipro,amex,gemini solutions and etc many more companies are there for placement 60-80% students got placed in the companies with an average package of 8 lakhs and with a highest package of 35 lakhs Iam oriented towards govt jobs and in future if I will be interested in coding sector I will do preparation for off campus and specifically for Rubrik

Placement do occur in the college. It's average package is around 7.5, lakh. Since I am the first year right now, I don't have data to support the placement record, but some of my seniors of fourth year are getting placed. One of my IT senior got placed for 14 LPA and other other, my Cse senior got placed for around 12 LPA. so opportunities are there for those who want to do something

Application for this college is easy process. You just need to fill a form from dhe.chd.gov.in for which you have to pay very nominal fee ( i paid 70rs in 2023). Teaching methods are okay.likr there's so such thing that college is in Chandigarh so better teachers or something.

Elgibility was easy as people for any background rather say commerce , arts , non medical or medical . College doesnt have any entrance exam for admission.Students are admitted through centralized admission under DHE chandigarh. Punjab university offers admission to those students those have good grades in class 12th. HONEST REVIEW BY OF GGDSD COLLEGE, CHANDIGARH BY A STUDENT

Eligibiltity of my course was just on my 12th class's board percentage. You can find the application form, application fees and application dates on the official website of GGDSD COLLEGE, CHANDIGARH There are reservered seats for specific castes although i am from general category so i did not get any type of reservation. The exams are held every 5 to 6 months after the semester end. And they are held from 9:30am to 12:30pm and 2 pm to 5pm.
