Remarks

Campus infrastructure is very good and comparable with any other private university. Facilities provided by the institute inclusive of academic and extracurricular are very good. Placement records and internship records are also good. Many companies come here for campus placements from entry level position to management trainee level.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Courses offered by IHMs are very good as compared to any other private hospitality institutions. But the curriculum is outdated and central councils should look forward to update the curriculum. The standard industrial exposure training provided by any central IHMs is of 102 days. He /she needs to give an interview to any hotel property for the training. Training assistance is provided by the co-ordinators. Arun Jaryal Sir, Pankaj Sharma, Abhishek Rajan Sir and Priya Sharma mam are the faculties of the institute that are always ready to help and give assistance to any student

Internships Opportunities

I did my internship from Grand Hyatt Mumbai. Stipend offered was 1000 rupees but one should not look towards stipend, one should look after the learning and experience.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements offered by the institute is very good. Many companies come here for campus placements right from entry level position to management trainee level position. Companies of quick service restaurant, retail sector, fashion sector, airline sector and hotel sector come here for interviews. Companies like Tommy Hilfiger, Puma, Reliance Retails, Haldiram, Nando's, Oberoi, Hyatt, etc. comey here for placements.

College Events

2.5

Campus life is great. College holds some festivals and events like freshers party, farewell party, tourism day celebration, Hindi diwas celebration, Himachal day celebration and the food fest. However the event's are not held on a very big size

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel rooms are generally alloted to 1st year students on merit bases. Each room has an occupancy of 2-3 students. Cupboard, table, chair, bed and mattress are provided to each and every student. Geysers are provided in the bathrooms.

Admission

For getting into any state or central IHMs one needs to clear an exam i.e. NCHM-JEE and then based on AIR and college preference he/she gets allotted.

Placement Experience:

As of now there is no clear idea of placement for BMS as the word is saying there will be assistance in the 4th year of the course for the people who will complete the 4ur course. But the people in the 1st year itself without support many of them got their internships.

MBBS is some course I don't think I've to define, it's low-key a noble profession and worth the hardwork you'll be doing throughout past few years of NEET-ug preparation and 4.5 years of MBBS. And superiority complex among yo relatives, hahaha????

Placements are there, but in my field I don't expect myself to be settling as soon as I finish by bachelor's. They provide us with enough knowledge to get into some great master's degree. Thus it is better to study good and get admission in best colleges.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in the final year. Big companies like Godrej, Tata etc come to the campus for placements, usually around March. Packages can go up to 15 lakh or even 20 lakh rupees depending on the firm and the individual. The placement is really good. There is 100% placement for courses like Biotech and MBA. No placement has occurred yet for Law because no badge has graduated as of now. My plans after graduating are to get a lawyer's job at a big corporate firm in the UK.
