IHM Gwalior was established in 1992. The college is partnered with National Council for Hotel Management (NCHMCT) Noida and IGNOU New Delhi. It offers various Undergraduate and Diploma courses in the field of Hotel Management and Catering Technology. IHM Gwalior is also known for its lucrative placements. Big Hotel Chains like The Oberoi Group, Jaypee Group, and many more have visited campus for mass recruitment. Admissions are offered strictly based on entrance marks in NCHMCT JEE for the B.Sc course. Last year's cut-off rank for general students was around 9642.

IHM Gwalior Admission 2024

Admission at IHM, Gwalior is merit-based or entrance marks in the exam. Candidates for course B.Sc. are selected based on merit marks secured in the entrance test NCHMCT-JEE. Whereas, candidates for Diploma and Certification courses selected on merit marks followed by the interview process.

How to Apply?

Students who are willing to apply for courses in IHM, Gwalior may follow the below steps for the admission process:

• Download the form from the official website of IHM Gwalior and register yourself.
• Applicants should fill all the necessary details like personal details, educational details, and other valid qualifications accurately.
• Once the candidate has filled the application for the desired course; they would need to upload a recent photograph.
• The course where NCHMCT JEE marks are mandatory, NCHMCT details should be filled out carefully.
• Candidates have to pay INR 500 (INR 250 for SC/ST) as registration fees via online payment gateway.
• Submit the duly filled application form along with documents to the office.

The candidates must visit the institute to manually obtain the prospectus and application form by paying the nominal application fee. IHM Gwalior Placements

Like any college, the Placement Cell has been set up in the college to offer to the students a sense of direction and an exposure to the range of openings and job possibilities available to them as they pass out of the college. The cell works continuously for the placement and training (Industrial and Vocational training) of 1st year, 2nd year, 3rd year, and Diploma in food production students.

IHM Gwalior Facilities

Following are the facilities offered by the college to cater to the needs of students as well as faculty members.

• Basic Training Kitchen: BTK is a Basic Training Kitchen for beginners of first-year students. This course is designed to provide a basic understanding of kitchen (food-production) in the hospitality industry. 
• Library: The institute has a well stock library comprising more than titles and a variety of periodicals. It is also equipped with a state of audiovisual facilities for the use of students. This library also subscribes to several magazines, newspapers, periodicals, trade journals, other weekly/ monthly and yearly publications.
• Advance Training Restaurant: It is a training restaurant for the 2nd year and 3rd year students. The students learn how to handle a complaint and serve food to the guest. 

• Hostel: There are two hostel blocks in the college on either side of the campus. All the hostel rooms are twin occupancy rooms with excellent boarding facilities in a hygienic environment. Rooms are having toilets & bathrooms in section 6 to 7 rooms. A 100 Bedded Hostel for the girls 192 Bedded Hostel for the boys with Dining room and Recreation room is available round the clock.
