IHM Gwalior Course Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

For IHM colleges, there comes a competitive examination named as NCHMCT-JEE conducted by NTA which allows a student to score well and get into 29 Central institutions of Hotel Management and nearly 70 State Institutions of Hotel Management. I scored well in my competitive examination and during selection process i chose, IHM Hyderabad, IHM Bhopal, IHM Gwalior, IHM Lucknow & IHM Jaipur, these are Central IHM's and i got my spot in IHM Gwalior at first place and i selected it. I didn't apply for any other colleges, so i wasn't rejected from any other colleges.

Adimission process is like that you have to crack exam which is held through nchmct then you ill be able to apply for ihm gwalior and i didn't choose other bcz of ihm gwalior is a college of central government's college which is very benifical to me and also for tranniess and student

Admission thorough the entrance exam or direct bases First you have to fill the registration form and prepairing for jee exam thorough the jee exam you got the seat. This is first process and the second process is direct admission thorough your 12th percentage

You should have passed 10+2 with 50 % No age limit You can apply for nchm jee exam on their portal by which you get your rank and through which you can select your collage and hostel. No reservations availed as i was from general category The exam was of 3 hours have moderate to tough difficulty level. The exam should have to be more focused about the particular industry ( specifically on hospitality industry)

Admission process was quite simple you can take admitted in the course by applying for the nchmct jee exam under JNU. It happens one time in year and the criteria is 60%in class 12th. There was reserved seats for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PWD.

Gave the nchmct jee by filling the form. Cut off is as per the category in which you lie, example obc, general, sc, St or any other cut off for the general is very high as compared to the other categories. The notification of the application is shown in nchmct website or in the nta website

The student must have obtained 50% or more percentage in 10th & 12th exams. So we are eligible for applying NCHMCT exam. The candidate must have a ranking under 5000 in NCHMCT to be eligible to get admission to IHM Gwalior. There are 3 rounds of counseling the student can take admission in the round respective of their rank.

I applied for IHM Goa and Pusa but my rank was not up to the mark. Then I got into IHM Gwalior. I've got 4832 ranks in all India exams of NCHMCT. I always wanted to do hotel management as i was always having a keen interest in hotel industry. I lucky enough to get admission to IHM Gwalior. As I was planning for hotel management, my family and friends were supporting me to at every moment. I was a little worried when I gave the entrance exam but eventually ended up being super proud of myself for scoring more than I expected. I would like to suggest everyone choose the hotel industry as their career.

As it's a professional college so, the plus point of doing the professional course is that you have more chances to get a placement at the end of your graduation. Honestly, I'm not good at studies at all I'm just an average type of student. So, after my 12th I choose to give my entrance of NCHM JEE in which I got satisfactory rank. Through my rank, I got college IHM Gwalior. Faculties are less in our college as compare to other IHM's. College can take mass no. of intakes every year, Students are from different states so many cultural festivals of different states are also celebrate there. But there is a huge shortage of faculties in terms of students. The placement cell is not so good. Before the pandemic, more retail companies are visited our college but they hired only 4-5 students. Minimum hotels are visited in our college for campus placement & they also fail to provide satisfactory job n package as well. Discipline is well maintained in our college but the diploma students are belligerent
