Remarks

I got here by my merit score. since it's an autonomous institute with a good reputation in state I chose to stick with it. currently im in the third year of my B.tech mechanical curse and until now I have completed many industry projects provided by the college. thats why I think this is one of the best institutes in the state as it provides large exposure to technical as well as cultural activities maintaining a good relationship with industries.

Course Curriculum Overview

All the staff is having minimum 5 years of experience ,all are highly educated from top universities across india like IITs, IISC, IISER, etc .All senior faculties are PHD holders and also having some patents registered on their names also some faculties published their books which treated as textbooks in universities in the state.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 136238 per year

Placement Experience

As it is one of the reputed institutes in the state many companies come for recruitment. 5 lpa is avg package for every branch and from last 3 years its a 100% placement is there. im planning for further studies like GATE for doing M.tech

Fees and Financial Aid

FEE structure is like 1,36,237 for an open candidate but many scholarships are there provided by the state government for applied conditions like EBC free-ship etc. On campus also there is a scheme from the university for some sort of financial assistance.

Campus Life

There are around 13 clubs in the college for various activities. arond 170+ events are organized by these clubs both technical and nontechnical. The library is also provided by the college having all sorts of books in offline as well as online format.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.

VIIT -a good option?

1) I applied to VIT pune ,COEP pune ,PICT pune,CUMMINS ,PCCOE . I didnt get these colleges because i didnt have percentile for merit for that college i had 95.84 percentile and their cutoff for CS branch was 97 at that time which was difficult for me . 2)students can enroll in our college using MHTCET and JEE mains score .Through cet cell there are cap rounds total three and last one spot round (may have changed now).Apart from this there are no tests or exams to get an admission in this college...Read More
