HRM Program IIM Ranchi

The college offers one of the best Human Resource programs in India. It is the first IIM to start a full-time flagship MBA in HRM. You have to appear in CAT which is held during the month of November every year after that you have to separately apply for the MBA HRM course. The application starts during the month of January after CAT results are out. Its HRM program is among the top 5 in India.

The pedagogy is similar to other IIMs which includes theory combined with case studies and real-life scenarios. The assignment and projects given are up to the mark and help one to learn teamwork. There are faculties with different areas of expertise from various prestigious institutes across the globe. some faculty are young while others are having more than 20+ years of work experience. The trimester system is being followed here and it is not difficult to pass the exams if a student is seriously attending all the lectures taken by faculties.

Summers internships are available to all the students. Companies like DE Shaw, TATA Steel, L&T, Deloitte, etc visit the campus for the internship. Roles are related to HR only. The highest stipend is 2.6L and the average is around 80K.

The placements are really good. IIM Ranchi has the best placement record across all new IIMs. For more details, you can refer to the placement report available on the official website. The placements for MBA and MBA HRM batches are different. The highest package is 26LPA and the average is 14LPA. 100% of the students get placement from the campus.

The fee is surely heavy to pocket 16 lakhs for 2 years. Nearly 5% hike from the last fee structure. Various scholarships are available you can find the details for the same at the central govt scholarship portal and the same can be availed from college. Getting a loan is very easy most banks have a reduced rate of interest and a loan without collateral is available as the institute comes under the AA criterion. You also get an opportunity in the summers to grab a good stipend internship.

RUSH and AGON are respective annual cultural/Sports and management fest for IIM Ranchi conducted in the month of February. The library has a huge number of books and journals to read for students. Near the recent hostel is the national stadium students are allowed there to play. There are various clubs and committees to be a part of. although there is no permanent campus for this college, it will get ready soon in 2021.

Students are provided flats at Khelgaon as the permanent campus is not ready yet. It is very spacious and far better than a hostel. It has all the basic amenities. A mess facility is also available. Daily transportation is available to the academic block from Hostels. Food quality is good and the menu includes a huge variety of food both veg and nonveg.
