My experience with nirma was awesome. It really got the best out of me. The management system is quite good as the staff is student friendly and also hard working, they are always keen to help the students and any kind of work related to management is done in maximum 24 hours.

IIT JEE, i chose mechanical engineering above all because it was my favorite subject in high school and also nirma is offering highest amount of recruitments in this field.

Very good organized structure of curriculum. Also offering of electives of our own choice so studies won't seem like burden anymore.

Placement opportunities are quite good for mechanical, electrical, computer, IT and chemical branches.. For mechanical L&T 4.87 lac/annum, Maruti Suzuki 6.5 lacs/annum, GSFC 7 lacs/annum, Reliance 5.5lacs/annum, For computer, IT Morgan Stanley 12 lacs /annum, Amazon 8 lacs/annum, Searce 7 lacs/annum, HUL 7.7 lacs/annum.

There is one technical fest of nirma which is known as NU-TECH. It is known as Gujrat's biggest tech fest wherein students of different colleges from Gujrat as well as outside of Gujrat can come and take part in any activity. It mostly focuses on technical events. Also we have students club i.e. Rotract and ISTE which organize the non technical events i.e. Singing,dancing, debate, stand up comedy etc.

At the time when i took admission in nirma, the fee was 1 lac/annum but now it is whopping amount of 1.75 lacs/annum. Although it has very huge amount of fees it is totally worth it as it offers almost full placements in all the branches which has average package of 4-5 lacs/annum.

Yes there is a good provision of availing scholarship for the bright students. Every year nirma is offering about 2 crore rs in form of scholarships to the students. Every year the top 50 students entering in the Institute avail scholarships. As well as it provides scholarships to the students coming from backward castes. It also provides interest free loans, you can get info about it on nirma's website.

If you love to do extra curricular activities such that sports(Any kind of sports), robotics, automobile, debate or any cultural activity then nirma is the perfect place for you. Nirma has lots of non technical events organized by the students club as well as it has its own team in the international competition like Robocon, SAE BAJA which requires a good knowledge of robotics and automobile respectively.

Nirma is offering hostel facilities for the students who are pursuing their post graduation degree in the college only. They do not provide this facility for undergraduate students. The hostel fees are moderate, you can find it on nirma's website as well as the mess food is also quite good.

Yes the alumni network is quite broad of nirma. We are always in touch with our seniors because our seniors will be doing preparation of technical and non technical events in nirma so they motivate us to not just only study but also to do some extra curricular activities.

Little hectic scheduling for exam is there, there are 3 types of exam taken in nirma: class test, sessional and semester end. Among them class test and sessional exams are taken as 2 exams/day.. Whereas semester end examination's frequency is 1 exam/day.

Student friendly, especially mechanical department, it has some of the best experienced faculties and at the same time student friendly.
