Good college.

The college is overall really good. If you are looking for a huge campus it's not gonna happen. the canteen is the best canteen on the planet. The college life is very good and you will enjoy a lot.

I took JEE, KCET and COMED-K i scored 16K rank in COMED-K and got into this college i always wanted to do Computer Science Engineering form class 11 itself i chose this college because of it's excellent faculty and very good placement cell it also ranked at 5th position in Karnataka.

I would like to say that the course is very good for those who are completely interested in it. It also has very good scope after the IT boom in India. There is lot of research opportunities also if on pursues higher studies at this course like M.S.

Yes our college provides internship through other IT companies like Google, etc. I am in 1st SEM so I really don't know about the stipend. But according to seniors the internship system in our college is really good.

The placement cell in our college is very well known all over Karnataka. Previous academic year our college had almost 100% placement in Computer Science Department ( according to seniors). Last year around 110 students were placed and companies like LinkedIn, Bosch, Informatica, TCS, Infosys, etc came to our college.

Our college has many work shops and cultural fest going on trough out the year. Our annual college fest is called MANTHAN. It is a huge cultural fest where there will be many activities in which students from other colleges also participate. So there will very tough competition. There will also be many other event about which I may not know as I am a fresher.

There are three types of fee structure: Through KCET: Students who have come form KCET will have to pay fees accordingly (around 75000 per annum). COMED-K: Students who have come from COMED-K should have to pay around 1.75 lakhs and 1.9 lakhs(NON-KARNATAKA) per annum. Management: Students who approach directly to college and not from any entrance exams.

There are scholarship offered to economically backward students. The government scholarships are also provided for SC and ST students they also provide loan facilities through banks ( Education Loans).

The campus is not that big compared to other colleges. But the campus life is enjoyable. There are lot of extracurricular activities going on in our college. Our college sports department is very active. We participate in almost all sports events. The students themselves arrange some activities and invite other colleges and have competitions.

There are two hostels one new build and other is old both the hostels are really good. The new building is very near college but the old building is about 1 km away from the college. The mess is also really good. They provide good, hygienic, clean and tasty food they have 3 share per room. The rooms are also really good they also provide free WiFi for the students at hostel.

The seniors of the college are very co-operative. They help us a lot and always encourage us. AND THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO RAGGING IN OUR COLLEGE. The seniors gives us tips about exams and placements. They even organise competitions between seniors and juniors. They even arranged a marvellous freshers party for juniors.

The exam system works according to VTU schedule. We have 3 internals out of which average of best of two will be considered. Almost of 1 and half month gap will be there between each internals. Each internal will be of 20 marks and Final SEM exam for 100 marks. The lab internals will be conducted after all experiments are completed. Finally I personally don't feel hectic about the exam structure.

I wrote Comed-K exam and got my results i went to Comed-K counselling where I got my allotment letter. Then I went to the college and filled my admission procedure and submitted required documents and got my admission done.

The lecturers are highly qualified. They have very good experience almost all the professors are Ph.D or pursuing Ph.D. The departments are very well established and encourage students. The lecturers are student oriented and never discourage students in any manner. They even help us in our extra curricular activities.
