I opted for Cummins College of Engineering for women because of its high number of placements. There are many companies coming in for the placement. It's a semi government college and actually better than many private colleges because of its fees that is just up to 1 lakh per year. The college has given me a lot of exposure and I have learnt a lot from the teachers, seniors. You get to organize college events and handle all situations and that makes you better in handling tougher situations. The college has a very faculty also and they are always ready to help you in any ways possible be it educationally or financially. The teaching as well as the non-teaching staff is very supportive. The environment is full of greenery and pollution-free. The hostel facility and mess faculty are also very good. You will definitely enjoy your life in this college and grow up to be a better individual also.

I have opted for Computer Engineering course. I have taken up this course as it has high rates of being placements and I have been interested in computer science since childhood. The teacher is highly qualified and for every subject, there is 1 teacher but doubts can be cleared by any teacher as they all know the subjects well. The principal and chairman all are very supportive and motivate children to do well in life. There are semester wise exams conducted by the RTMNU university and college takes two sessional exams for the preparation of it. The exam is moderate and if you have studied well you are definite to get good marks and SCPA. There are training sessions like APTITUDE preparation and foreign language classes and interview preparations by experienced teachers from different places. We also get company exposure through industrial visits and training by Zensar. In a way, the college makes you very well equipped and prepared for any interview.

There are internships offered through AMCAT examination and with a student of 8000 or more. You have to make at least major projects in your college life and you are judged and marked upon that. The teachers help you with your project and guides can also be provided to help with the project. PRESENTATION for the project are held and the university gives marks for it.

From 6th semester the students are eligible for placements. There are many companies like TCS, Mahindra, Cummins, Infosys, Udaan and many others. There are many placements offers made and the average package is 4 to 5 lakh and highest package till now is of 10 lakh. Almost 70 percent of the students get placed. Many people opt for higher studies and do not sit for placement. There is good exposure and the faculty is also supportive.

The fees are up to 1 lakh per year. There are many scholarships available such as DBT, Cummins scholarship and other company scholarships. You can prepare and give exams to attain these scholarships. For the university exams, you have exam fees up to 2000 rupees per semester. For hostel you have 20000 fees but if your attendance is above 90 percent you get a scholarship and you just have to pay 5000 rupees. Likewise applies for the bus facility as well for the localities.

There is Anannya held annually in the month of January and it's a mixture of events like technical and sports and cultural. And you will enjoy a lot in this as all of it is organised by the students with the help of faculty. There are technical events held on Engineers day and a Mechanical event every year. There is a well equipped library and you can issue any book or sit and read any books or use the E-library service. The classroom has a projector and screen and blackboard and you get free WiFi faculty in college as well as on hostel. You can play table tennis, volleyball, kabaddi, and kho-kho as a coach are provided for them. If you play well you will get to represent your college in university events as well as get a chance to play inter-college tournaments in Pune as well. There are many social groups like Coders Club, Security Club , Website Club. You can become a member of IEEE and also get a chance to become SAC COMMITTEE MEMBER of the SUBSECTION. The hostel facility is very nice. You have 3 beds in a room and a cupboard, table and chair for each. You have coolers provided for the summer . The washroom is also good and kept clean every day. The mess faculty is quite good and every week the students decide the menu and accordingly food is made. The registration process is very easy and if you have 90 percent and above attendance, you can get histel accommodation free.

The admission process is quite easy. You have to fill the forms and submit the documents which are kept safely with the office in charge. There is no interview or test as such but you have to clear MHCET and you have a small conversation with the Principal. There are faculties to help you out in the admission process and you will not face any difficulties as such.
