Entrance Preview

Comedk , I scored 103 in the exam. I opted this college because this was hands down the best engineering college in karnataka. I chose aerospace because I was interested in designing n technology.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is same for the first year of any branch. It include the brief explanation on subjects like civil, Cs, electronic . The course is structured on the basis of the outcomes of the students. It is designed such a way that what a student will do after completing engineering.

Placement Experience

The placements r very gud and college claims that about 95 %r placed every year . There r many companies staring from Microsoft to inofsys The packages is also very good . Almost over 20%of students get 20lakhs+ packages . Placements start from 6th sem itself and u also get training on how to attend the interviews.

College Events

There r about 30 clubs including technical n cultural. Ashwa, antariksh, vyoma, Kathy, foot prints, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure depends upon the exam u write n get into the college . Comedk - 2lakhs for the first year.

The faculty of RVCE is the best and the teachers r ready to help out any time . Teachers r very cooperative n interactive . They help out students even after the classes . There are many experienced professors and also many young researchers .

A Brief Review of My College (New Horizon College of Engineering)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college (NHCE) is affiliated to VTU but it's autonomous college. I like mechanical engineering and my father is also a mechanical engineer which inspired me to mechanical engineering. It is a bit outdated, expect more applications of the concepts. As I said we have exams every month, the frequency is good and the difficulty of exams I mid to easy range.

Experience at new horizon.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester onwards students are eligible for the placement. Alots of companies like VISA,IBM,Accenture etc2 visited our college. The highest package recorded as of 2023 was from VISA offering 32.2 lakhs. 90 percent of the students get placed. After I get my degree I will work for awhile in the corporate world and starting up my own business on the side.

The college placements are pretty good and provide an average of 6lpa for the students. There are lot of IT companies visit to oyr college but there are no opportunities for the courses other than IT related branches. Students become eligible after their 6th semester in the academics.
