To learn programming in D.G. Ruparel

Pros: 1) Really good campus. 2) provide lots of facilities to the students. 3) provide all types of scholarships. 4) Experienced professors. 5) Support other activities for students. 6) Really good educational support for plain BSc students. 7)Most famous college in Maharashtra for Cultural events. Cons: 1) Campus is very large but cannot use it to play. So many restrictions. 2) Non-granted courses have no value here. Nobody gives attention to them. 3) IT staff is not good. Some subjects even don't have teachers.

I choose this course because I like to do programming. Faculty is good for Third-year students. First and second-year teachers are not available all the time. There was no teacher for 2 subjects. I had to study all my own. Many changes occurred during my FY and SY which results in the really complicated academic year. The senior professor has great knowledge about the subject. They are really good. Junior and newly joined teacher are also good but not really attentive. Term exam conducted in November and April. The semester was really challenging. Even though I scored good points.

Big companies visit our college for placement. Many start-up companies also visit my college. They provide lots of job opportunities. Packages are from 15000 to 50000 per month. Any few students get selected in placement, only about 15%.

Fees are around 23500 per year. You have to pay fees in one instalment. College provides us with scholarship and many more helpful policies. Many big companies come to my college for a campus interview. Big companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, L&T used to visit our college. Many start-up companies also visit.

There are total 23 huge events every year in January and February. These events are handled by 23 different departments. Each department has its own event. IT department tech festival is the most famous and huge event. College also has a cultural event in December. There are a huge library and study room available for students. Classrooms have lots of space and air. College provides a gym, library, study room, indoor sports room, huge playground, cultural room and many more amenities.
