IIT entrance examination , 77% I scored , I applied to some of the colleges from which I got and selected Sophia college in admission process.

Internships Opportunities

Yes in the medical stream.the college have been progressive in the recent years.Their were many job related interviews by different companies and some best companies are still in contact for the same. Aries Agro-Vet Industries Limited, Aventis Pharma Ltd.India, Bharat Serum and Vaccines Ltd.

Placement Experience

The Vacany were limited due to the selection process the companies tried to capture the audience in the interviev camp and they selected few of the best candidates the interview were placed twice in a year. The following companies were well known after the campus as they selected 15 of the candidates and the packages they offered are :Aries Agro-Vet Industries Limited Rs. 15000/ starting salary , Aventis Pharma Ltd.India Rs. 20000/ starting salary, Bharat Serum and Vaccines Ltd. Rs. 15000/ starting salary.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The following are the some of the scholarship / loan facilities provided by the sophia college. The Gujarati Mandal Scholarship to a deserving student of any class. The Mirza Ghalib Scholarship to be divided between two Urdu- speaking students. The J. Hormusji Scholarship to a deserving student of any class.

I 77% I scored , I applied to some of the colleges from which I got and selected Sophia college in admission process.

The Teaching Department is the one that needs to be appreciated for the growth of my career. Most of the professors are highly Qualified and their by doing their best for the students. My Journey

I applied to Sophia, Jai hind, Wilson and Mithibai. I got admission to all the above-mentioned colleges. However, I chose Sophia because it has a great psychology course and has a good set of teachers as well. I had my name on the first merit list however, to meet up the admission criteria a student had to score a maximum of 85%-86% in their 12th boards. The admission process was pretty smooth. It's an all-Girls A grade institution. Better for arts than science field. B.sc is not a very good course so you are better off choosing something else.
