Campus selection and It offers the Integrated Certificate Diploma (ICD), B.E. M.Tech. M.Sc. MBA and Ph.D. in various disciplines of Science, Management, Engineering and Technology. The campus of the institute extends a beautiful and well developed lush green area with many topographically featured picturesque landscapes, numerous buildings of various nature and stature and metal road network.

well there are so may deptt so hard to say overall but in mech KP SINGH sir is best.all the department is full with good teacher.and all teacher are best here. so may department so hard to say overall but electrical department Dr. J.S. Dhillon sir is best

I can??t say placement of sliet is very high if u compare its record with IITs or NITs but yes it is better than many state level govt and private colleges

College Events

Almost every department has their own society which conducts Quizzes, Paper Presentations time to time. NSS & NCC are also active. There is a team of Mechanical Deptt. called Junkyard Warrior which design All Terrain Vehicle & participate in BAJA race. It has won many times.

Campus Life

Sant longowal institute of engineering and technology, longowal, constructed around 451 acers, which is huge. If you are sports freak then there are plenty of options for sports like cricket, badminton, volleyball and basketball.SLIET provides you High speed Wireless internet Connectivity with 1GB daily usage limit. Which is very helpful during exams and so for Youtube

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are more than good enough. Hostel room contains enough space for 3 three students. Hostels are quite hygienic.There are also a gym in the campus, which can be good news for you, if you are gym freak

Pros and Cons of LPU

Placement Experience:

In our course in bsc agriculture the placement is not that much that much good but in other courses like B.tech CSE in that courses there are the very high placements one of our senior get 2.5 CR package from LPU and one of our senior also get 3 crore package this is highest package and the average package of B.tech CSE is 5 to 10 lakh If the campus is not offering placement to me I will go for government exams or going for entrepreneurship also offers good package but not that much good the bsc agriculture sector wants needs more improve improvement in placement cell yeah that's all but if a person wants to do semester exchange also in foreign countries so over University will also provide some guidance to him and they will support the students to go for an exchange for foreign semester exchange programs and there are two many things also

The placements at LPU are decent, the University provides placements to almost every student. The placement cell here is really very active. More than 1000 companies visit LPU during placement drives providing average package of 6-7LPA in CSE field. The highest package recorded was 2.5 crore from robotics and automation and 64 LPA in CSE department. 99% of students at LPU get placed. My plan after getting the degree is to join the corporate and work as a SDE or AI/ML engineer at MNC.

I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
