My decision for choosing this college was its presence in the country for so long time making it the oldest IIT giving it huge reputation and opening a wide range of opportunities of all kind. People here can pursue a profession completely different from their dream, can build start-ups and even go for reasearch. The placement statistics also speak of its magnanimity with an average package of ?2400000 p.a..
