Remarks

The leading MAKAUT affiliated college attracted me to join this campus. I chose this college because ofbthe placements it provides along with facilities in academics. From print to digital media and movies to research, Bachelors in Mass communication gives you an international exposure and recruitment.

Course Curriculum Overview

It is the best college which provides the best suitable curriculum for mass communication in kolkata. Infact it is ranked the best from KPMG as well. The faculty also provides for high-end equipments for showcasing the projects on a worldwide platform called ileadTv.

Course Fees: INR 212000 per year

Placement Experience

The college provides for the facility of campus recruitment on a large scale. It encourages its students to opt for interviews taken by the companies in the campus of the college. The placement department provides speedy redressal of any grievance that the students have regarding the placements.

College Events

The college provides huge ground for showcasing talents in extra-curricular field. It organises excursions to various locations where the college students develop on the creative front. The college provides a very convenient life inside the campus with full amenities including air conditioned classes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of the course is pretty nice with diversified subjects alsong with specialization subjects in the 3rd and 4th semester. Some compulsory subjects include Tagore Studies and Basics of Communication. The course also includes Development Communication, Online media, Journalism, Gender studies, Advanced Audio Visual Production. The department is well equipped a mac lab but it only have 5 macs. The curriculum also includes Design, UIUX, Graphics design etc, and the curriculum is continuously updating with moden media teachings. The curriculum mostly prepare us for Academic Purposes than Industry.
