Remarks

Good Compared to State college/institute, the laboratory are good infrastructure are good. The Placement of the College is not good, if you want to join only for job purpose it is not for you. but for learning purpose it is good.

Course Curriculum Overview

Is the faculties are good they help you every-time, if you have any doubt you can ask them on their mail, reply received within 2-3 hours. They want to help students to learn, In my Branch all teachers Are good.

Class Size: 10Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Placement Experience

There is good placement for FET Branch and also amazon and Intel visited the college this year and Got details is my mail, but the placement is not good compared to other college

College Events

they Conduct almost two big technical events, one is Techracy and other is Ecstecy. Ecstecy is good full of enjoy and lots of workshop is done in the techreacy event, and lots of games, online games, and robotics fight others college students are also can join. you will enjoy a lot

Fees and Financial Aid

scholarship is available provided by NSP, upto 80000 for ST students and 50000 for SC student. My one friend got a scholarship of 48000 non hosteller.

Hostel Facilities

Food is not good and toilets are dirty, rooms are good and best past is high fast internet lan available you will going to love it. Hot water facility is also available but some time it not works. you can enjoy the hostel life.

Hostel Fee: INR 7000 per year

Placement Experience:

For Campus placement students become eligible during the 3rd year of their course. Apollo hospitals came for the interview and more than 15 students were offered for placement. My plan is to get a work experience and go for further studies or to work abroad.

Remarks:

The location. It has an epic scenery. U never get bored even if ur outside of the college. There is a lake just on its outskirts which are beleived to be made by the mighty Ahoms who ruled Assam for 600 years. Then there is the Joydol(a temple dated back to the Ahom dynasty).These sceneries tempted me to take admission in this particular college.

Good college. Its the best college near my home. Its graded A by NAAC. This college have good result always under Dibrugarh University. Not so far from my home. A beautiful campas the college have. The college is on the periphery of town. Thats why it has good environment. The students can concentrate in the class. Good facility of toilets. 24×7 hrs water. Remarks:

NIT SILCHAR is one of the technological institutes of national importance established in the year 1950, one of the core learning centre for sciences and technology in north east, gaining spectacular growth in last few years it has secured 10th place out of 31 colleges, having the Asia's largest digital library, your life circle of 7 lives would not be enough to compete all the books, the lush green environment and its location on southern side of kashi hills makes it a magnetic centre for knowledge thus lives. The patron of education and the spice of knowledgeable people from across the country under a 695 acres of land compressing of more than 5000 students is all I can describe my college, words fall short apart. Negative remark as such is its isolation from ROI it takes almost 1½ day to reach West Bengal from Silchar, road connectivity is less and even the climate is unpredictable here the funniest part is I have experienced all 3 seasons in a single day, morning it was raining at afternoon it was sunny and night I was chilled out

CIT KOKRAJHAR reviewed

Other colleges I applied were NEHU and Tezpur University.I got IT branch in NEHU and Mechanical in Tezpur and CSE in CIT kokrajhar.I preferred CIT because the CSE branch is what I wanted from the beginning.Even though it's infra level is less than Tezpur University,but I didn't wanted to waste time in other branch rather than CSE .CIT compared to NEHU had better chances for CSE students....Read More
