Course Curriculum Overview

It's hard to cherry pick any specific department but law department it's excellent i loved it and all other Faculties are equally good because punjab University always keeps A1 quality of professors which are phd degree holders but no matter its pros Biggest con is i hated the university mess and food it's absolutely pathetic

Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Placement Experience

Once you got admitted into punjab University you need to not to worry about placements its a done job for you because getting placed is relatively easily especially if you are doing bcom plus llb and degree holder of pu don't struggle getting jobs at all

To describe in one word "Prepossesing" - Well our university holds technical, cultural, youth fest, annual fest, athletic meets, inter-intra college sports matches and adequate opportunities for talented lads in bhangra, music etc

Placements of this college is better than many tier 2 NITs . Students are eligible for placement in 8th semester. If we talk about the top companies visiting PEC, these are Apple, Google, Microsoft, American Express, McKinsey, JP Morgan etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subjects covered basics like programming, DBMS etc. which is useful in the beginning. But honestly, it's not enough for real - world jobs, so you have to learn extra on your own. Exams were regular and not too tough.

Placement Experience:

from 5 semester you become eligible for internship and pre placements i think 56 percent of the students get placed i haven't thought much about what i need to do after the degree but definitely i would be considering gaining some experience in this degree to enhance my skills

Overall im loving this college

Placement Experience:

For placement students can apply in their last year respectively Top recruiters at UICTE include Reliance, GAIL, Honeywell, ExxonMobil, and Technip, offering many roles, but exact offer numbers aren't publicly available. Highest package for chemical engineering this year is 12 LPA and average is around 5 to 7LPA I want to do something of my own after this degree

Inside of PGI chandigarh from bsc nursing point of view.

Placement Experience:

Students from 4rth year are eligible for placement. Pgi provide job for it's own students. Bond system is here. Students can apply for foreign jobs as pgi provide their degree and a sheet with completed number of hours as in clinical we need 100% attendance. Students who don't want to work in pgi can go to different hospitals as pgi is a recognized university they will get job easily. 80% students get job in pgi. As many new blocks are building here for future, they will require large amount of nursing officers so they will give job to their own university students. Some senior got their job with a high amount as salary with health benefits, hostel allowanc, travel allowance, and tax is included. Working hour are less here, people can switch there shifts with there workmates as per there convince. My plan is to work here as a nursing officer and do my master degree from pgi itself.

There are on compus placement and few companies visit. But very few students are only selected and offered a package of around 5-6 lpa. Oracle, fy, hdfc etc In percentage placement is around 10%. I plan to apply for off campus placements and don't have any plans for mtech or any other cource.
