Remarks

It had almost same books and method of studying as in INDIA. It was of the nearest distance from my home.also I'm familiar with the language. My college is quite old, MCI recognized so it was always a yes yes.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is going quite well, teachers are really experienced. Also books are indian books, we have all the facilities as well like a biochemistry, physiology lab, anatomy dept, canteen, library and ac classrooms.

Class Size: 60

Placement Experience

I'm doing MBBS so doctors anyways get a job, either through next, or we do pg or give USMLE or simply open a clinic

College Events

We actually have alot of clubs and I'm part of the debate club we frequently have voluntary camps and functions, freshers farewell and many more.and it's fun, we also celebrate puja and eid and holi and all that.

Fees and Financial Aid

No there's no such facility given and I haven't availed the same. Loans are privately taken if needed but not from college.

Campus Life

Tbh we don't have a campus out tgere its just 2 buildings and a college hospital. No greenery, its in the middle of the main road. The building is quite old as well. But we do have an auditorium. And a canteen.

Hostel Facilities

Yes I live in college hostel, infrastructure is quite alright but food is always non veg so yeah it sucks. Also there's no warden as such just a khala who comes to cook and clean and literally shouts in bengali all the freaking time.

Hostel Fee: INR 200000 per year

My honest experience of my collage life

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my collage courses curriculum conduct by Calcutta university, every collage who affiliated with Calcutta university follow Calcutta university curriculum. I choosen BA LLB because in ba llb every semester you learn new law subject and they help you better understand because you have five year times you can learn every law subject very breifly way. I think the curriculum of my law subject is enough to prepare me for real world application because you read every law subject who is important for your real world experience that is the reason i choose this course. I think they need to change repetive topic in semester because of tenure of course i repeated few topic of my subject i think they need to change the few topic of subject they are so repeated. Every year two semester exam i give and semester season is june and December , in june semester exam student have very less time to prepare for exam i think this is a difficult for students for prepare exam in a short time.

Review on Burdwan Medical College

Initially, I got admitted into Bankura Sammilani Medical College based on the WB NEET UG counselling results. But in the second round, I got the chance to upgrade BMC which is closer to my home and so I chose it. It is one of the older colleges in WB, established in the year 1969 and has one of the largest campuses in the state. My admission was done in the first week of September 2017. As I had already got admitted to BSMC earlier, I just had to transfer the documents and the overall admission process was smooth and not very time consuming. It is MCI recognized and a renowned college in our state. The college is overall good and has provided good memories of the time I have been here. However few improvements are still possible. Infrastructure can be improved a whole lot. Beautification of our college has been going on for some time and it has already been improved from what it was when I got admitted here 4 years back....Read More
